Helen and Mirian must be identical twins!  That's cool.  But it looks like Mirian works a bit harder, because even though Google is paying her $2/hr less than her sister, she earned more money and got a better car.

It's so sweet to see these lovely sisters working so hard and being successful in life, though.

Two different jobs, Helen does "simple" work, Mirian does "on-line" work.  Someone needs to tell these women they can make more money for doing work they already enjoy.

One might also question how Mirian was able to buy a McLaren F1, a vehicle which normally costs over 13 million dollars, with her $21,610 "google" earnings.

So the latest challenger to F*c*book is a site called "MeWe" [mewe.com] and I've heard about it from a couple of different places. It's basically a direct competitor to F*c*book so there's the usual network effect to overcome. Seems to have some energy I haven't seen before, though. I wonder if it will become to F*c*book what DuckDuckGo is to Google -- the go-to alternative for those who have become tired of the HitlerMonster (and don't want to exchange one HitlerMonster for another HitlerMonster like Bing or Google Plus).

What's different here is that it's the first time in a while that the approach to competing with F*c*book isn't "we have to be federated and open and distributed."
That's true, of course, and I'd rather see something open and federated and distributed (so that Uncensored can join it, natch) but I'd also be happy to see F*c*book lose its perch top the heap.
I'd also be very happy to see Zuckerberg die slowly, slashed with rusty knives and submerged in acid.
