Cost should be based on # of wheels hitting the ground, not cost of the car. You use the same amount of concrete if your cost 5k or 50k.. grr
And they charge a fee, for the privilege of paying your bill.. And guess what, its a % of the total. not a flat rate. Most people would never even notice this, but my wives car is registered in her name, so i cant pay it on the same bill as my 2 even tho we are married and live in the same house..

So like an idiot i threw away my HSA card last month. Long story, drive thru ( which i rarely do ), card in bag. forgot. bla bla .. moron. And had no idea what my account number is or even who to call.. so had to wait for my next statement. yay, its here..

I've noticed more call centers now implementing the "our wait time is measured in hours, do you want us to hold your place in line and call you back when someone is available?" feature. Those things are still awful but I must admit that might be one of the best inventions in this problem space ever.

That's nothing. My car warranty department, which is in India, calls me even if I don't set a place in line.
