Subject: Top 10 Reasons to Vote Democrat in 2014

"Top 10 Reasons to Vote Democrat in 2014"

(Courtesy of Allen West, probably the single most awesome congresscritter out there right now.)

10. I’ll vote Democrat because I can’t wait for college football season to be delayed or cancelled because the student athletes are union employees.

9. I’ll vote Democrat because I believe oil company’s profits of 4% on a gallon of gas are obscene, but the government taxing the same gallon of gas at 15% isn’t.

8. I’ll vote Democrat because I believe the government will do a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

7. I’ll vote Democrat because Freedom of Speech is fine as long as nobody is offended by it.

6. I’ll vote Democrat because I’m way too irresponsible to own a gun, and I know that my local police are all I need to protect me from murderers and thieves. I am also thankful that we have a 911 service that get police to your home in order to identify your body after a home invasion.

5. I’ll vote Democrat because I’m not concerned about millions of babies being aborted so long as we keep all death row inmates alive and comfy.

4. I’ll vote Democrat because I think illegal aliens have a right to free health care, education, and Social Security benefits, and we should take away the Social Security from those who paid into it.

3. I’ll vote Democrat because I believe that businesses should NOT be allowed to make profits for themselves. They need to break even and give the rest away to the government for redistribution as the Democrats see fit.

2. I’ll vote Democrat because I believe liberal judges need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

And the Number One reason I’ll vote Democrat is:

1. I’ll vote Democrat because I think that it’s better to pay billions for oil to people who hate us, but not drill our own because it might upset some endangered beetle, gopher, fish or frog.

So this site wants to do something against stereotypes about females? While it is at the same time showing a girl with a microphone (Remember, girls are always good at arts and singing!), instead of a monkeywrench or another typical male item? A female holding and looking into a mirror? Deliberate use of violet? Are you kidding me?

Some kids are bossy and some kids are leaders - those are two VERY different character traits.
Bossy kids tell everyone what to do in a way that makes you want to slap them upside their heads.

My former neighbor's kid came over one day (she was 9 at the time) with her little sister (6). She got her sister and my 2 kids (5.5 and 4) to clean up my entire living room. There was no yelling, just a bit of direction. My kids never clean. This kid is a leader.

LEARN THE DIFFERENCE before you start saying that 'bossy' is a term to be banned.

"ban bossy" in a nutshell:

1. Sheryl Sandberg is a BOSSY BITCH

2. She doesn't like being called a BOSSY BITCH even though she *is* a BOSSY BITCH.

3. Instead of trying not to be a BOSSY BITCH, she instead projects her problem onto girls everywhere.

4. Like all BOSSY BITCHES, she expects other people to modify *their* behavior instead of fixing her *own* problem (which is, in case I didn't make it clear earlier, that she is a BOSSY BITCH).

When someone shows leadership skills, no one calls them bossy

People want to join a leader - to become a part of their success.

I honestly don't know enough about her to judge, but usually when someone gets called bossy, it's because their leadership skills suck.

Heh.
Back in my days as department chair I had many a run-in with my exceptionally incompetent District Supervisor of Science.

Think of "House MD". Think of House's "encounters" with Cuddy.

"You're an idiot!" was invariably how I would end the meeting, leaving his office in what they used to call (many years ago) an "8 cylinder huff."

I have an absolutely zero-tolerance level for incompetence.
To the point where I would put "IAH" after the name(s) of the offender(s) on the Faculty List posted on the wall of my office.

Eventually someone would always ask me "what does 'IAH' mean?"

I would tell them: "Incompetent AssHole" and the uproar of laughter that almost always followed was more than mildly entertaining.

I suppose that sort of thing would get most people fired, or at least "formally disciplined."

Never happened to me.
I taught Physics and Calculus.
And in "secondary education" that is about as close to irreplaceable as a mortal can ever get.

"The truth will set you free" -- which is another way of saying, "being honest will get you fired."

(Which, uncoincidentally, is exactly the reason the commie media is doing its best to suppress info on Benghazi)

No, the news is entertainment to sell commercials, nothing more. It has to decide what is the best form of
entertainment for its target audience.

Actually, if I recall properly, the president of CBS is actually the brother of the Deputy National Security Adviser.

I would find more entertainment in the liberal application of gibbons to vehicles. Because... MONKEYS!
