When we first started looking for a new house three years ago, we found one we really liked, but the owner's cats had urinated in a few places and we knew we'd have to take care of that before we brought our cats in. We called it "the cat pee house" -- or in French, "Chateau Chat Eau"

I fairly consistently use "folks" myself, or something based on it (e.g., "such folk can go kiss my Aston-Martin.").
