The first snowstorm  of the season is coming tomorrow morning  so I emptied the garage and pulled out the mothballed  snowplow blade  that I've never used and… it's not a snowplow blade!  @#$!  It's a scraper blade which is in the same thing at all.  For one thing,, because on the back of the tractor instead of the front. For another, it's only about 18 inches high  whereas a snowplow blade should probably be double that.

In fairness, the tractor came with a whole bunch of accessories that I wasn't even planning on getting.  I definitely don't blame the seller. It's my fault for not having taken a close look at what I was putting away for five years.

So I guess in the market for a John Deere snowplow blade.  I wonder what they sell for?

It's a good thing I have  that $80 snowblower. I don't think there will be any accumulation tomorrow,  but soon enough. Soon enough.

Well, look what we have here.

Hi, good to be back in touch.

Not much.  We have two cats, they are adorable.  That takes up most of my time.

I have a job, I write mostly lots of python and some javascript.. u know.. jQuery, CSS, postgres, that kind of shit.  It's not a particularly glamorous job, I should get a different one but I don't.  Instead I play with the cats and watch The Great British Baking Show.  

I don't do lighting anymore, or work on any theatre at all for around 10 years now.  We go to the theatre sometimes.  I also stopped doing lighting for parties, now I have a sound system that goes pretty loud.. I still work on parties now and then with the sound system, and DJ.. but not as much as I used to.  We (my S.O. and I) used to work on lots of psytrance parties but we don't enjoy them as much as we used to so we do that just a little bit.  Now we like techno and go to techno parties where we know hardly anyone and are just spectators, and it's a nice change.  

Oh yea, I got a new camera just the other day.  Fuji X-T20.  New to me, anyway.  It took me a couple of years to decide what camera to get this time and I am still not sure I made the right choice, but it's pretty awesome so far.  I've taken many cat pix already :)
