You've been upgraded and are now TheARMv11er. Or something. Welcome back! Die in a car fire! So nice to see you.
The winter solstice appreciates you remembering it. In fact, it sent you a candygram. :)

Knock, knock...
One thing I like about Twitter is its reach.
I was able to post a message "just wanted to wish you a Merry Christmas; may the joy of our Savior be with you throughout the year."
And I addressed it to the Sultan of Brunei, who enjoys murdering people who celebrate Christmas.
Happy New year ! (in the middle of winter again :/ ) I'll raise a glass to the first blooms of spring in around 30 or 40 days!

Only 364 days left until Christmas!
Would you believe my neighbors *already* have their decorations up??
I'm giving some consideration to doing the same thing. My Christmas lights are lame. I'm thinking about maybe getting some programmable LED strips and affixing them permanently to the house in some sort of weatherproof manner. Then I can just push some buttons to make them any color I want to: red and green for Christmas, blue for Chanukah, red/white/blue for Independence Day, green for St. Patrick's Day, orange for Halloween, etc.
I suppose I could just follow the schedule for the Empire State Building and mirror whatever colors they use, but I see a couple of objectionable ones in that list that would have to be omitted.
You know they have those projection lights that seemed to be popular this year.
For the really lazy and really cheap. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Unbranded-Star-Shower-Laser-Light-Projector-As-Seen-on-TV-9400-6/206109339
(anything that has "As Seen On TV" is..... ummmm)
Many buildings and businesses are using the built in LED lights for colorful decorations, they are getting popular as well. It isn't just the Empire State Building.
