That was going to be my question. We have several 'animal oriented'
things in local universities ( since this state is still considered
semi-rural, for now ). And of course any of the vets that handle
'farm' animals would know.
The vets and departments I am talking about actually do wildlife and zoo stuff. It is cool because that way I managed to hold a baby deer in my arms. She is the cutest non-horse thing I have ever had in my arms :P
Just read that the town i grew up in, that is now a park since the town washed away, has just had all the surrounding farmland sold to build 1000s of apartments. More destruction.

Im on board with that, as long as residents dont come here and make this area even worse than its starting to become.
And, id like to expand that a bit to some other cities.

Back when we still had to walk uphill both ways to school, I forget when we went back from summer break but i do think it was quite a bit earlier than kids today. It seemed like a blink and summer break was over. and they get more and longer breaks the rest of the year too.

Absolutely agree. For example, when Hollywood is razed to the ground, all of the Hollywood people need to be destroyed with it. Let them be fertilizer for the new orange groves. Likewise for the feral humans of Oakland, let them become fertilizer to grow back the oak trees. City dwellers must not be permitted to migrate to places where humans live.

Tell me more about that, maybe in one of the tech rooms. If we're talking about the fediverse, that's absolutely part of the roadmap but it's on hold until after WebCit-NG replaces WebCit Classic in production. Specific protocols and networks can be discussed. My initial plans are to do ActivityPub (aka "mastodon") but I'd like to begin with whatever accesses the largest audience the fastest.
And let there be no doubt: my long term plans for Citadel involve not just publishing the world's finest groupware and communication platform, but also playing a large role in the democratization of the Internet.
Ya, its 'the way of things' we all seem to be stuck in that.

I'm stressed out right now over some documentation this PM wants....I'm writing the most generic docs every conceived cause I am not giving anything up. Anyway, she doesn't need it because she would'nt understand any of it anyway. I hate that kind of arrogance.
omg do I sympathize with you on that! We have one good PM and the rest have no idea how our business works and are just box-checkers. There's one of them I enjoy working with anyway because she's really nice and we talk about cats. The rest are annoying. "You have this item due." Ok, I've never done one of those before. Can you give me a template? An existing one from another project to use as an example? No? Ok, who's the target audience? Who requested this so I can ask them? No? Ok so I don't even know where to start. "So when will you have it done?"
I ended up just writing the documentation I wanted and jamming it into every slot.
And now the same PM is on the next project I got on to. I was added to the project for a specific reason (I'm the SME for all things containers and kubernetes). But the PM started slapping my name onto all sorts of random crap on the project. And I had to smack him down for that.
