Will you people stop talking about bagels already?
You're making me much too hungry for those things and it is already past noon...

A bagel is good any time of the day! All that changes is what you put on it. :)

At 12:22pm PDT you could have easily made lunch out of a bagel loaded up with chicken salad or some other savory filling.

I had a tuna-salad bagel for breakfast. It wasn't intentional, though. I was going for tuna-salad wrap, but the clerk didn't understand either English or fingers showing the number 1, followed by the number 5, to indicate combo 15. I noticed he wasn't wearing glasses, so his visual acuity might be as bad as his English and lacks the needed correction to understand visual cues.

Still, it tasted okay.

Tuna-salad bagels are yummy. Just not a b-fast thing (at least for me).

Since it's probably 8:23am where Vince is right now, may I suggest a bagel "all the way" with smoked salmon and cream cheese and all the other fixin's that go with that type of thing. Yum yum yum.

salt bagel with whitefish salad and a slice of tomato, with a pickle on the side... and a snapple peach iced tea.

while reading the Sunday NY Times (just the magazine section, never the news!)

That's my fantasy of life in America...

Seems like absolute perfection...

:)

Neither is my electric stove. I'm gonna make your ninja cats come over here and clean the burnt food off the bottom of the pots.

Wait... why are you burning the food on the bottom of your pots instead of inside them?

[#] Wed Aug 06 2014 22:45:33 UTC from IGnatius T Foobar

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

Because I don't know how to cook on an electric stove. It has four "burn food" knobs but no "cook food" knobs. Very confusing.

Once things are messed up, why go half way?
