I did not realize this, but apparently The Cookie Monster has made a youtube video auditioning for SNL.
I would also like to see OJ Simpson hosting Saturday Night Live. That would be awesome.
Anyone remember Whose Line Is It?
Anyone ever see the episode with Richard Simmons? Holy cow, but it's funny. And possibly not safe for work.
It's what I do.
Good pick, fleeb!
Love Whose Line - still rerunning on the family channel. Ever see the episode with Robin Williams? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=11lRFvq8miQ
Anyone else tired of hearing about Charlie Sheen?
Part of me is just kind of hoping that he'd just go ahead and overdose already so we won't have to hear about him anymore. It's frustrating that our society gives so much attention to such a pathetic waste of protoplasm.
There are so many cool, hip, totally what's-happening people out there and we focus on the lowlifes.
100% in agreement
We're not hearing as much here, but you can bet if it was Mr Firth, we would.
Never really been a fan of Charlie Sheen, and some of his earlier movies were a bit off-the-wall, and he's always been a crack-head.....
I'm so tired of hearing about him... at least 3 times on different radio stations every hour, there's a news story about him. I change the channel every time a news story comes on about him.
What I'm so worried about, as IG says, is why our media focuses on trash, corruption, and filth like a celebrity getting back into heavy drugs instead of focusing on positive and uplifting news stories...
It's all about ratings.....
I must either be insulated, or I'm good at filtering, because I've only seen one headline about Charlie Sheen in the past couple of weeks, and I didn't bother to read the article.
It probably helps that I listen to a local classical music station during the day, XM satellite radio during my commute, and mostly watch pre-recorded TV from my DVR at home (fast-forward through all the commercials).
i actually bury my head in a pile of rocks most of the time, so unless it's big important news, it doesn't reach me. I seem to recall there being an actor named Charlie Sheen. I'm gathering from this discussion that he's using drugs at this time. That's as far as my knowledge goes.
As far as I know, the last piece of actual news that happened was a gigantic earthquake in Christchurch, NZ. People are rioting in Libya and Qadaffi thinks that killing them all is a good idea... did I miss anything?
No, that about sums everything up. Well, there were some floods in the US, too, but that seems more minor compared to the other stuff.

Try listening to http://classicfm.nl/ <-- you really get away from all the crud of American media....
The skeptic would doubt that "b>they" are capable of being that clever.
well, you over there got charlie sheen, we over here have some weird troubles about the minister of defense having faked his dissertation, and him stepping down after weeks of discussion.
Lybia hardly makes it against that. NZ went allmost completely under the radar, dead german soldiers in Afghanistan also.
now they shuffle seats, the last minister of internal affairs now does the defense shit (as if you don't need any special knowledge to operate a ressort) and the next designed minister of internal affair starts out with a bullshity anouncements about muslims so the discussion starts over again. Imho since that guy was completely unknown outside of bavaria, this is intentional political suicide.
one of the other news on page 1 is the gas prices which rose 20ct since the conditions in lybia started to destabilize.
The comedians have hardly time to catch up, and I guess the people doing the carnival cars (which usualy have some political inspiration) are going to be outdated.
Yes, its obvious that there is something they're trying to over-noise.
Maybe these serbs i've posted about in politics and propaganda who do 'consulting' to piecefull revolutioners like guys in egypt (yes, I think they were pretty clever to dodge violence over there)
My guess is that they're afraid of to many dictators being whiped at once now that this toolkit has ben proven to work more than twice.
For south america, I guess that asshole mowing over the cyclist serves this job.
another thing to over-noise would be wikileaks.
just watching http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0415481/
don't know which kind of drugs enables these russians to create such a picture...
"they" don't want us to see. (Similar to the death of Michael
He's not dead, you know...
