It always amusesme that they mix climate change with capitalism.

I suppose that in a socialist system, people wears no clothes, has no use for heating, does not eat, and does not produce CO2 because industries are dead.

That's pretty much the main thing driving skepticism. They say that the planet is doomed and the only way to save it is to implement global socialism. There are plenty of reasons to drive towards abundant, cheap, clean energy. Socialism is not one of them. Want to wean the world off fossil fuels? Then make a push for Generation 4 nuclear -- which is physically incapable of melting down, and can actually consume the waste from older generation reactors as fuel.

When you have people like Alexandria Hitler-Cortez claiming that giving free college tuition to illegal aliens will save the environment, anyone with more than zero brain cells is going to be skeptical that it has anything to do with the environment.
