I think Mr. Trump is done trying to appease everyone. The gap term may have been just what we needed. He sounds like he's going to come in hot and do what needs to be done.
The liberal media is still trying to paint him as the bull-in-a-china-shop that he was in 2016, that he needed to be to cut through the noise and get everyone's attention. He's not really like that anymore. He showed a lot of restraint and self-discipline, but without weakness, for the 2024 campaign.
This, plus the unprecedented shittitude of the opposition, is what got us the landslide.
