So FBI in their valiant cleanup efforts for some sort of botnet-virus, "hacked into 700 million machines and removed the virus", with court approval.   And no, they wont be notifying you that you had the virus, or that they hacked you.

This isn't the first time the FBI has performed illegal activity.  A few years ago the FBI hired a hacker to crack the encryption on an iPhone.  Evidence found, was lookin real bad for the defendant.  Luckily, defendant's lawyer was lawyering really well and got it thrown out because the means of evidence acquisition was unlawful.  Prosecutor had to drop all charges.

If the FBI had done their job correctly and lawfully, the guy would be in prison.

If the criminal has to be let free because the investigators fucked up, I'm okay with that.  We cannot be violating peoples rights by breaking our own laws.  That's what shithole communist corruptionist places do, like West China and North Korea.

I have heard about things like that, but never on this scale before. And remotely even, nothing in their possession. ..

It's a pawlitical flag, it's never been a flag of any nation, state, or territory.  Just a pawlitical flag.  Tho I do agree 1A rights were violated.

I have heard otherwise and that its an officially blessed flag by the federal government.   There was some fuss about it a few years ago and that was the outcome, that it was not just ' some random flag' and they had to allow it.

I will have to go find that.
