Subject: ATTENTION

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

ATTENTION IS THE GREATEST POWER  YOU WERE BORN WITH.

This is my symbol for attention, a cross hair within a circle.

In ancient times, you came to this 3D environment. The first stage of this game called Life was hunting and gathering.

in this game, there is no ACTION nor CHANGE without making a DECISION to move first.

Deciding the target object (meat) starts the Attention search mode.

The search mode focuses on important data and inhibits or ignores irrelevant data. You gather data to realize your target object by creating a plan.

You were given tools including attention to achieve your object and to SURVIVE in a hostile environment. From personal experience,

attention seems to know your future and tries to direct you in the right direction. So, you were given a verbal map to get oriented in the game.

X ------------->MEAT. Attention is related to thought in that

1. You are the subject or protagonist

2. Action or verb to create your life movie.

3. Target object gives you direction.

You are basically an organic robot which has free will. I know that normal logic allows you can only two options: machine or not. Yes this is a paradox to consider but this logic is the rules of your game..Today man will not deny there is no remote control for machines.

Attention works on two levels:

1. focus on your decided path to target object

2. search for changes in your environment like signs indicating location, directions, other hunters or moving objects which potentially could block your progress.

SEEK AND AVOID PARADOX.

Attention is like a muscle that grows with use.Attention can see hidden objects. That is the reason you have survived so far.

Attention is a mystery. She is related to the brain and sense yet not. Tesla believed the brain was the sixth sense. As far as I know the sixth sense has been considered paranormal. You can decide to use her directions or not. You have free will.  Maybe you can recognize attention now and work with her.

Best wishes,

insanewolf

Two responses, thousands more to go :)

"distraction" is a KEY WORD. That is the main reason race horses wear blinders... to not get distracted.

"xyz" are the three unknowns in mathematics. The start of Kreation is asking questions to get answers. Attention pointed to interesting responses.. for your benefit.

Citadel is a production tool for management in the publishing industry. Yes, you can produce potentially any object  through communications and organized efforts. but that is the trick. How do you as an individual Kreate?

Since the printing press to radio to television to movies to computers to mobile devices Kreating Kontent is King.

And, you should Kreate Kontent. Insanewolf

your attention, loanshark, just focussed on a key issue. That is the main reason I wrote it that way... to get your attention.

Millennials have problems with making decisions to get out of "bad" situations. So, how do you move people in the right direction? They have to make that first step.

Well, you certainly did kreate some kontent there.  Back in 1988-1989 or so I was the editor in chief of a radical underground newspaper called "Kontroversy" so I'm no stranger to words which begin with the letter K even though the NWO conspiracists keep telling us they should start with the letter C.

I hope this effort bears some fruit.  The last time it happened I spent a lot of time writing an NNTP server for someone whose agenda turned out to be nothing more than fancily dressed up anti-Semitism.

When I look into the crosshairs, I dream of someday owning a Universal Detonator that can make anything explode, without having to first plant explosives.

Hi Ignacious, Boy , I am standing on sacred ground so I better tread carefully. I have noticed lately there is not much of a WELCOME any-more on the boards, but your NNTP threat was taken seriously though. , but I will take your suggestion to use "C" instead of "K". Sounds fair :)Frankly I do not care for politics because it ruins the message

Yes, you are reading too much into the message.  hmmm, so you are a moderator? Can you explain your remark "When I look into the cross-hairs, I dream of someday owning a Universal Detonator that can make anything explode, without having to first plant explosives." theses are your words not mine.It sounds provocative or suggestive. I would not recommend that type of talk particularly now-a-days.

I think that I am too quick concerning anti-semite talk, but if you hear me saying anything offensive, please let me know.

thanks,

insanewolf

Heh.

'Moderator'

of 'Uncensored'

A censoreless moderator, moderating moderately and modestly, while Modest Mussorgsky makes music amazing!

Watch this, insanewolf:

Fuck you, IG!

Oh, and for a traditional welcome, may I offer you a quick 'DIE IN A CAR FIRE'?

Subject: IDEAS

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

On the internet, I have seen people who are constantly grabbing ideas. I once created a word; it was not real word called FACTOID. I suspected that it would never catch-on :( I later learned that the word had been grabbed for a Bitcoin product. Oh well! It was a silly word to grab attention, but I never figured it would end up this way. Well for most people and the Internet, this is normal. Some folks have a ability to use words that grab peoples attention. Really communications are all important.

How do resourceful people create ideas? They just solve every day problems which they had noticed. The spiral wrist band was a take off of an idea where one end of a string to your wrist and the other end to a key. These things happen all the time, until some one decides to solve the problem. At the beginning you do not have answer yet. The desire to get an unknown answer will trigger the attention search mechanism. Remember the book called great expectations. This attitude is needed to get the answer.

It is a mystery, but you will draw people, resources, knowledge to solve this problem. The attention focusses on important data and inhibits irrelevant data.

YOU WILL RECOGNIZE THE ANSWER, WHEN  YOU SEE IT

I know that this is true, when I decided to understand the English alphabet. Why would this be of interest to me? I am not certain except that I had an English ancestor there in the 1500s. When I started on this journey, I had ideas pouring into me. It was weird.

Later I realized that I did not need a guru or cult master "when I am ready"   I never got to that point.

Today I am happy where I am and do not wish to go back to ignorance, because it sucks. Life is truly amazing and a mystery.  Ideas are infinite.

THERE IS NO SHORTAGE OF IDEAS

The feeling of shortage breeds fear and desperation. So, I decided to explain that you have resources at hand to realize your target objective.

insanewolf -- relax, you're in good company. Don't be put off or confused by what you read. You are among people who are irreverant, outspoken, and willing to look at things in a non-traditional way. The fact that our customary welcome is "Die in a Car Fire" should tell you that you aren't on a board where we're going to be discussing Beyonce's new hit single.

Keep using the K. It's K00L.

There's no "threat." If you've got some interesting perspective then run it up the flagpole! The NNTP reference was about the last person who landed here and spoke in similar words about enhancing our perspective and expanding our world etc. etc. but in the end it turned out to just be a bunch of NWO conspiracist crap, and as you probably know, those people inevitably reach anti-Semitic conclusions.

From the above you might suspect that I may be Jewish. Nope. I'm one of those flyover-state evangelical Christians. Jesus is my main dude. And I don't live in a flyover state. I've just got no tolerance for hatred/bigotry.

I wrote an NNTP server for Citadel because the same weirdo actually had some decent technical vision about using it to interface Citadel as an information system with a wider world. The project failed to bear fruit because the information he was trying to distribute turned out to be a bunch of crap.

Here's the secret about sacred ground:

There isn't any.

Fidonet?

Heh... Citanet. Citadel predated Fido, but probably wasn't as popular.

Still, I found Citadel far more interesting than Fido, back in the day (and maybe today, too). Anyone could create message areas (we call them 'rooms' in Citadel). Some rooms would network, while some rooms held files.

This version of Citadel has goals beyond a simple BBS, though.

hi fleeb,I was locked out of the internet four days. No site would connect.

So, my attention lead me here as an answer to my question.

In my opinion attention shows force, intelligence and direction like a living personality, but she can not be controlled. today, I listen to her but she does not communicate on the verbal level but rather on a visual level.

Citadel fit perfectly with what I wanted to do. I know I can drop ideas and they are picked up eventually years down the road.

No one bothered to explain what happened but it seemed to be connected with the cable service. I realized how important it was to be able to talk to people and get news about what is happening.
