Fri Mar 04 2016 01:10:01 AM EST from ax25Set up a Veronica-2 server to crawl it (or something sorta like it)?
- i.e. indexing the dark web question from I.G.
Ok, so I was mostly trying to be funny, but what I found was even more funny. I figured I would search for the pre-cursor to Veronica search and see if it related to the "dark net":
searh : "dark net archie search"
Pulls up this as the top link:
https://www.deepdotweb.com/grams-search-darknet-marketplaces/
Which, you have to dig up - search : "sonic grams archie comics"
and find this:
http://info.sonicretro.org/Category:Sonic_the_Hedgehog_(Archie)_comics
I have to admit, I love the historical references here. It probably does not work as a search engine, but at least they kept the theme alive.
I thought that this was an interesting elevator (German?) I like the push buttons for the floor selector. Also there doesn't seem to be doors on the elevator, just outside doors on the floor.

I think they had the best solution, don't try to communicate with the people on the other side of the door, just push buttons.
I am not sure what I was thinking when I posted that. I wish I could blame it on drinking but I can't. I was tired, for some reason I thought Kasich was on the democratic ticket.
(sigh)

I guess from an american POV Norway is technically germany.

And just about a week ago I was searching data like this...
The article describes how much websites have grown since 2011 and the number is pretty impressive.
I would have loved to see some cpu load numbers, since I do not believe that the amount of shipped js will make that grow just linear.
Heh. I thought it was going to be one of those "imminent death of the Internet predicted!" but it's actually the web is DOOM, not doomed. Nicely done.
This is the user-agent string sent by "Edge" (the replacement for IE in Windoze 10, still not useful for much other than downloading other browsers)
User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/42.0.2311.135 Safari/537.36 Edge/12.10240
So it's Edge pretending to be Safari pretending to be Chrome pretending to be Konqueror pretending to be Netscape.
Can we please just agree that parsing the user-agent header is now completely useless, and just put the name of the browser in there?
So it's Edge pretending to be Safari pretending to be Chrome
pretending to be Konqueror pretending to be Netscape.
This comment is missing some parentheses, possibly nested and distributed.
Okay... what am I missing? I don't understand the question or how the question relates to the image.
Oh..... okay, I have seen that before and yes it is pretty bad. Oddly enough when I looked this morning before I entered my other post it was a picture of a giraffe with cats on top of it.
I sincerely hope this was made as a joke:

Well, that's one way to validate your input... I guess...
I can't wait to see the new version that handles international phone numbers outside of the NANPA region!
Hm, somebody ranted about phone conferences in some room, but I couldn't find it again, so I post this here:
Build your own phone company with WebRTC and a weekend: https://webrtchacks.com/own-phoneco-with-webrtc/
There is a good piece of hipster webtechnolofy involved, but it reads like a fascinating and impressive technology. Dunno how reliable, though.
