He is certainly my favorite.
I love my dark, brooding, moody super heroes - but campy 60s Batman is who I grew up on.
Thu Jun 24 2021 22:48:29 EDT from IGnatius T FoobarThat was a fun clip. Adam West was the only real Batman. So much fun.
So going to get a guy at work to watch the 2004 BSG reboot thing ( amazing hes not seen it yet ) and debating on having him watch the miniseries first. I watched it afterwards ( didnt know it was around until then ) and i think it would have spoiled some of the progression of the main series.
But i know i think differently than most.
Pretty much every 'prequel' ever should be watched after the original. Follow the chronology in real life, not the fiction.
The miniseries, has some of the background story of what is going on, but it also gives some info beyond it.
So im sort of torn. I liked not having the back story at once, and watching it unfold and learning it as we go along. but, that is just me.

I agree with this, completely. Consider yourself thumbed up.
Not a fan i take it?
Or just not watched at all!
Whittaker and Chibnall leave Dr Who.
YAY! Too bad it too late to save the franchise.
Short version is that Chibnall is the guy that is running Dr Who into the ground. Whittaker is the woman that he brought in to play the 13th doctor, to help destroy the franchise with him, while they preached woke agenda to the fans, who have pretty much abandoned the thing.
They are bringing back the producer who ran the thing before they set it on fire, and in general did a good job. There may be no saving it now, but there is at least a chance if he does it right.
Looks like the last episode of Hawkeye just pissed all over Agents of Shield. ( at least from all i'm reading, i have not watched it. now i wont. )
Yet another reason to hate Disney.
I dont care if you do or dont like stuff, there is no reason to retroactively destroy characters, shows, whatever.
I dread to see what they do to Firefly, or DareDevil.. bastards. die in a fire. all of them. Oh and the coming BSG reboot.. no, just f-no.
Oh and forgot about Indiana Jones, where i hear they go back in time to kill him so as to replace him with a female 'mary sue' version.
Hide your DVDs before they come for them next.
Unfortunately, he rolled over on this one.
Tue Dec 28 2021 10:39:07 AM EST from IGnatius T FoobarHan shot first. He'd better shoot anyone who tries to mess with Indy.
Which is too bad. Its not like he needs the money or wanting to continue his career, hes basically retiring. A good time to stand up and say 'no, you cant destroy my legacy with my assistance'
Mon Jan 03 2022 08:50:14 AM EST from IGnatius T FoobarWell yes, it's clear that both Han Solo and Indiana Jones are far more heroic than, say, Harrison Ford.
So i hear that "book of Boba Fett" isn't bad. I'm afraid to spend time with it tho. Lately most everything has been trash and/or a setup so you can watch them destroy a classic character/franchise/etc. ( not 100% but damned close )
