Subject: Death Star's architect finally answer complaints about exhaust port.
Well there's also the issue of whether venting exhaust at all is a good idea
for a battle station that is permanently in space. The station would be losing
pressure at a fairly high rate of speed if it doesn't have a fresh air intake.
What kind of energy does the Death Star's core run on, anyway? I can't imagine they've got a diesel engine in there. It's got to be some sort of nuclear reactor. How do you run one of those in space without a supply of cooling water? The empty vacuum of space is *not* an effective thermal discharge.

Vader may not but all those storm troopers, Lister, Rimmer, the technical director/fire control operator and
other technicians all pass body waste.
other technicians all pass body waste.
Vader does most certainly excrete. If he eats, he excretes. I heard from
a very reliable source that Vader is particularly fond of Penne Alla Arrabiata.
Scotty: "You cannot change the laws of physics!!"
Vader: "I am altering the laws of physics. Pray that I do not alter them any further."
Excretion is obsolete in the 24th century. Waste products are removed from the body with a transporter.

Is that why, in all those episodes of Star Trek, in all of its variations and reincarnations, you never, ever, not even once, saw a restroom?
True fact: Gene Rodenberry had his bladder and rectum sewn shut, to see what
it would be like to live in the 24th century. He eventually died.

"He eventually died."
This is an event by no means unique to Gene Rodenberry...
