Yes, obviously :) If you look at shitty countries with tightly controlled economies, the sort that forbids slaves aka citizens from buying dollars, people always find alternative ways to trade. Controlling the government sanctioned currency only works as long as people trust it.

There are barter exchanges where people trade goods and services without money changing hands. If the Elected Racketeers eliminate cash, we will probably see these exchanges become way more prominent.
