When you've been online for this long, you eventually come to realize that at the end of the day IT'S JUST WORDS ON A SCREEN. 99% of the people online today have never known anything other than "social networking" and it could be decades, if ever, before they reach the level of zen that some of us have attained.

Part of the "it's just words on a screen" level of zen is coming to the realization that you can have totally incompatible opinions and still be friends, still hang out online, still happily exist in the universe together.
