I see this as the ultimate Socialist fuckup. Socialism used to be all about helping the poor. Now it is about openly killing them.
It links nicely with that headline about a disabled vet who asked for funds to set some home-aid (an elevator for his house or something) and was offered euthanasia instead.
I'm ok with it as an option, as it should be your choice. But not pushed on you. I had seen that story headline too, but was wondering if it was just that people were volunteering more, or it was being pushed more as another prong of the depopulation of the extra serfs on the planet.

Another funny headline was that the gal in the euthanasia advertisement didn't want to die. She was ill and wanted hospital care, but they didn't give it to her, so after a long time trying to get it and get the bird instead, she gave up and signed up for an euthanasia program.
That kind of answers the question, doesn't it?

Unsure of the original source, but i'm seeing it in several places now. He put out a survey if he should resign or not, ' i will abide by the results ' and he was voted off the island.

Anybody who makes the powers that be uncomfortable will have a Doctor issue a report stating that he is suffering severe depression. Then this person will sign an euthanasia agreement. The fact the person had no appointment with any doctor and signed no paper will be concealed from public view.
