I like the way the a-team movie tries to pretend to take place but obviously doesn't in a very american way:

  - no cheap/older european cars, only upper class high priced ones accompanied by typical american ones

  - american bus - no realy. busses look different in europe. all over europe - not just in germany.

  - on german lakes you don't find old rusty fisher boat wrecks - its the most expensive areas over here - its all polished for tourists and such.

  - no pine trees next to lakes - its oaks and such, if its all settled by the rich with their shiny houses.

We don't need another Silent Bob and Jay movie.

I saw Pee-Wee Herman doing something not too long ago, he looked aged and it wasn't the same. It lost its
magic.

Might be amusing, though, if Paul Reubens went creepy with it.

It wasn't creepy before? ;)

Maybe if they had a Silent Bob, Jay and Pee Wee adventure.

It's been creepy for a while. If he's looking for an easy payday, go for it.

Yes, quite.

I would do xml, but that would be too verbose.

This weekend I introduced both of my kids to the 1980's classic, "Ferris Bueller's Day Off." They both got a lot of laughs out of it.

Ten or so years ago while my neice was still in high school she watched FBDO, I asked her was it still funny,
were the jokes still relavant to today's kids? Her answer cracked me up.... "Well... a lot more of today's kids
skip school."

I always found that movie to be aggravating and annoying.

And I'm sure that has a lot to do with me having a 31-year teaching career and not much to do with the movie's actual "quality."

No. But I understand they are doing a re-make of Return of the Jedi in which Princess Leia gets to sing for about 20 minutes before throwing a firebrand into the pyre on which Darth .... oh neverming, that's Wagner sneaking in yet again... <evil grin>
