I mentioned to this guy at work that this year is the first year in hundreds of years that spring started on the 20th of March instead of the 21st of March.
He asked why, and I (erroneously) said that I thought it might have something to do with the earth's wobbly axis.
He described the earth as 'twerking'.
My impression of him has risen considerably for it.
You should come up to speed. I dismissed the Sparks back in the day, but they passed me by. I would place them as "They Might Be Giants", only pre-dating them by 20 years or so. If you liked TMBG, you should give the Sparks a listen.
I'm home.
It's just numb right now... not sure how much pain I'll experience once the topical wears off. Hopefully not much, but they gave me some pain medication if I need it.
I don't feel inclined to talk much at the moment. Heh.
A shame that the tooth had to go, but, it was leading to infections.
Fleeb - Good luck sir. I finally found a dentist that caters to cowards like me and they saved me when I needed a root canal. They did a great job and I was even conscious through the entire experience.. Sometimes it's all about finding the right denties.
It was also super convenient when my daughter lost a tooth while we were at Disney World. With a little help from the resort staff I was able to convince her that Tinkerbell is the acting tooth fairy on all Disney properties.
So I told my daughter that we don't have a tooth fairy.
We get a present from mommy when the first and last tooth fall out.
I cannot be bothered to sneak in and find teeth and all that...
She got a set of 3 lipglosses and 3 nail polishes, and all was well.
I remember what I got when I lost my first tooth - it was this plastic flower (tulip?) that had a doll inside, and when you poured water in the 'pot,' the petals opened. Of course, in the commercial, it looked like magic, whereas it was actually just the weight of the water, but whatever...
I loved that thing for at least 2-3 weeks!
