Or, go without. Im used to doing that.
.
I say then beat the system, plan your own fruit trees to produce your own syrup/sugar, and make your own candy.
Was up in town this afternoon getting medications ( about the only reason i go to town once a month or so. ick ) and checked the candy situation. 1.9 pound bag of assorted chocolate, $19.49
Even tho hes long gone, his effects still linger.
Virginia Giuffre committed suicide. Sure she did.
A lot of people do.
Yeah. Hillary needs to be strung up for hundreds of counts of first degree murder.
So a company displaying tariff amounts on goods is considered a 'hostile act' by the president. wtf. Its called the fraking truth.
I regret voting for this elitist scumbag. Lesser of 2 evils, perhaps, but still evil regardless. I sincerely hope someone steps up and takes care of this mistake. Enough with the amateurs.
You do know he campaigned on tariffs, right? I did; it is one of the reasons I voted for him. And no, I do not regret it. What he is doing had to be done sooner or later.

Now, since the previous post will get moved to the can, ( with luck AFTER it seen by the referenced party ) i thought id comment on the 'rest of summer' statement.
Yes, the tech purge is continuing, and im almost never online now. Other than necessities like paying bills and such. Even have told family " dont text me, i wont see it, gotta call if you need me". About down to just a Chromebook for bills, off-line mp3 player to play what i have ripped, a e-ink reader since buying 1000s of books isn't practical. I guess i have that dedicated TV box to watch 40 year old shows. Refuse to watch even streaming now. F-that. Even tossed my X10 stuff out into the trash.. Oh, and my NAS is still alive, but that will be shut down soon and go back to a couple of drives. And yes, i went back to 100% mechanical watch too.. Looking into putting a carb on my car. ( well i do have a laptop for work, but its gone as soon as i get out of the job. and i detest turning it on every morning )
Goal this fall is to retire out of this stupid IT career, find something else to for a couple of years as far away from tech as i can, then in a year or 2 sell out, head out to the hills in KY or TN or something, and cut the cord totally. Tech and industry have ruined everything. Im ashamed i was part of it.
But, i do plan on stopping in every so often, but it wont be often, the grey-out is not temporary. ( hate to call it black out, i'm not 100% gone... just mostly )

I have a friend in Florida who also sent everything straight to hell and got a cabin on a faraway hill, isolated from everything that mattered. It sounds like a fine plan to me.
I think cutting off all your off-gridable technology is a bit harsh, though. But to ach his own.
We are gonna miss you :-(
Don't worry, i wont be totally gone. just not around much. ( wasn't planning on being here now, I just happened to have the page in my history from last time. Had to pay a bill today. Pop. there this was. )
We are gonna miss you :-(
In case you haven't noticed, "Pussy" and "The Woof Zone" have been combined into a new room called "the Pet Palace".
Your last read message pointers may do some unpleasant things.
Just stopping in for a moment, really busy this week and next. But i was asked by Nurb to pass along a "hey to most of the gang back on citadel" over the weekend weekend. We ( and one of his dogs ) spent the weekend hanging out together, it was wonderful. Might have a few stories later.. Sunday we spent it mostly at a state park hiking around in the woods and stuff.. it was like i was with Doctor Doolittle.. it was simply unbelievable, if i had not seen it myself.
cya soon!
