I think we replicate what Vlad the Impaler did, to deter others.

Time for playing nice has long since passed.

Don't worry. They are applying a new food business model in which South Americans themselves are the food, just like in Haiti. That is the reason why they bought so many.

New term for me: "burglary tourists"

I guess south American gangs are flying up to southern California, break into mansions, steal stuff, then fly home.

PSA:

When wanting to temporarily add a huge external drive to your proxmox backup server, it goes a lot smoother if you plug the damned USB cable in. and not just dangle it near the port....

Several times, thru the late afternoon and early evening.  During afternoon it was quite a while.. Another episode shortly after i posted.

Mostly timeouts, so i assume network issues.  ( but my side appeared fine. i checked first.. i was still able to hit other sties )

Ok not real sure what is going on here.

It seems to only be via HTTPS that it comes/goes/goes/goes/goes.   No errors i see in a browser, other than timeout. ( more than one broswer )

Was experimenting with things this morning, ping was fine, ssh was working. Even tho that ruled out network i still tried web on shop VM ( vpn ) VM and it worked. Then got out a VM of my own, on my network, and it worked So i was about to assume my PC was hosed somehow.  But then i realized left out the S and it was just HTTP.  THAT is working fine.  But HTTPS.. never connects.

Went back to the shop VM just to be thorough, HTTPS is dead there too.

Same results on cellular data.

Getting a lot of blank ' not found ' errors moving around, under http.   But a refresh fixes it.  At ~6pm https still DoA.

Again, may still be me, as its so wierd... i donno.  ( and figured this was not worth being in support, its not a 'bug' or anything like that or id have moved it over )
