I was just going with something I saw way too much of on YouTube, but this
bottom line site is an entire encyclopedia of this type of crap!
FIND OUT THE IQ'S OF THESE CHILD ACTORS AND WHERE THEY ARE NOW (#8 WILL SHOCK YOU!) USING THIS ONE WEIRD TRICK
Not really ... actually it's an entire site full of the kind of clickbait
*other* sites embed. I wonder if I can use it as a corpus of clickbait to
train a filter.

If I learned anything from television, I learned that you can solve programming problems with adverbs.
Trying to work out how to pull that file from a remote location using https when you have a bad certificate, and you have to code it in pure C/C++? Simply apply an adverb, perhaps using the handy 'ly' ending, like 'embarrassingly', and the problem is solved.
Thanks, Lolly!
I just listened to a bunch of nontechnical people trying to sing "Happy Birthday
To You" on a conference call. They were all trying to sing together but none
of them understood anything about latency, so the song just kept getting slower
and slower. It was ... interesting.

That sounds like it would be hilarious, knowing the technical details behind the effect.
In spite of my lack of knowledge of "how" I do understand the effects of Latency, and got a refreshing chuckle from imagineering the scene.
Hey people!
When you think the batteries might be dead in some device you have, do you ...
(1) try new batteries to see if it works, or
(2) put a voltmeter across the terminals?
