I don't have any knowledge of the process by which Vitamin D is created in the presence of sunlight. Is it a function of skin exposure or eye exposure?
It would be skin.

Hard on the eyes i would imagine. I think id prefer supplements.
So do I.
Still, not all suplements are created equal. I have heard many so called Vitamin D supplements don't contain proper Vitamin D, but a precursor that you organism must turn into Vitamin D... and for doing that it needs sunlight anyway.
There are good suplements but maybe they cost 10 bucks more per jar than regular ones :)
Really?
I mean... this isn't a major problem for me - living in Phoenix. But - if I were in Ohio, that would be an absolute concern.

<<< Vitamin D is not one chemical but many. The natural type is produced in the skin from a universally present form of cholesterol, 7-dehydrocholesterol. Sunlight is the key: Its ultraviolet B (UVB) energy converts the precursor to vitamin D3. In contrast, most dietary supplements are manufactured by exposing a plant sterol to ultraviolet energy, thus producing vitamin D2. Because their function is almost identical, D2 and D3 are lumped together under the name vitamin D b but neither will function until the body works its magic>>>

@DrAndrewHell on the twitters:
"Our meta-analysis of survival for ivermectin had to be retracted after one of the main studies was suspected of medical fraud. With the revised version, there is no statistically significant survival benefit for ivermectin. So the original version should not be quoted"

So just as the FDA approves a "vaccine" that would normally take seven or eight years, they warn you against taking a drug safer than aspirin which was approved long ago for human use.
Ivermectin was already getting harder to find as flu season nears. With this latest public service announcement being faithfully echoed and amplified, you can expect everything from Kareny cashiers demanding proof that you really own a horse, to state legislators and governors trying to get into the act in some fashion. If you haven't laid in a supply, my uneducated advice is to do it now. If no place local will sell it to you for cash, throw privacy to the wind and use a card of the beast to buy it online. Because it's better to have it and not need it.

Tho unrelated to the current situation, FDA can kiss my ass.
I suffer with daily migraines. i have since i was in my early 20s. The only thing that has helped me, and many others is ( was ) Midrin ( and eventually learning the triggers and trying to avoid them: heat and sun ).
It was on the market for decades. ( i think upwards of 40 years ) with ZERO issues. It predates FDA rules. Sooo what do they do a couple of years ago? "We refuse to grandfather, someone must pony up the millions to get it approved". So in effect killed it, as who is going to do that for what is now basically a generic? I wonder who paid them off.
Bastards.

False statement. FDA approval requires 6 months of safety data.

thank you for you uneducated advice
No.
Why?
Because I'm a stupid evil redneck Nazi who doesn't believe in science and wants your grandma to die on a ventilator.
Now fuck off.

I wouldn't say that. I would say that, knowingly or otherwise, you are pushing something fraudulent.
The medical fraud associated with ivermectin is now well-documented.

It should be no surprise, really, that opportunistic quacks and grifters would crawl out of the woodwork during a pandemic. That's why some of us were so skeptical, taking such a wait-and-see attitude, about some of the studies.
