Thanks, everyone. My game has significantly improved since that project. I went from beginner to Advanced in one project.
I have made another pineapple doily for Noodle and I'm working on a real stand out project right now.
I really like making these doilies but I haven't the first clue what to do with them. If anyone would like one, please don't hesitate to speak up.
Girty, the doilies are great for under glassware or for under various tchachkies.
If you find you want to make some but just don't have a home for a few, i always have too many tchachkies that could use somewhere comfy to rest. lol
Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.
I finished my latest one this weekend. Part of the problem is that I like three dimensional ones, so that makes the underglass thing a little troublesome. (what with the popcorns and cutaways and such)
But I can make flat ones, too...and I do...
Very nice work, girty!
an idea for putting doilies to use:
1 or 2 small doilies + 2 fabric or tulle rounds + 1 embroidery hoop set + potpourri = a very pretty sachet
I'm working on a wall hanging idear...wait till you see my latest one.
Oh, and I just bought a book of 9 more Kristofferson patterns. (she wrote the pattern for the DFH)
