I keep misreading that as "spinal poodle".

That would be a good name for a band, or for a new designer drug.

That raises an interesting question. It "Spinal Poodle" was a band, what part of it would spontaneously combust? Um, maybe a question best left unanswered.

I like that name far more than I should.

Spinal Poodle. Fifi shreds The Moist Pumpkin.

Aside the massive amount of laughter I'm suppressing, I'm also suppressing some very un-PC remarks with regards to felines, to go along with the latest Steel Panther controversy.

I've had one for a lot longer than they have. It's just something I usually keep behind closed [barn] doors. ;)

Anyway, I'm just glad someone took the bait on that, and didn't leave me hangin', to corn a phrase.

Nice! Growing up in the 80's was so cool. Thundercats, Voltron, He-Man, Transformers, a full Saturday morning and early afternoon of retina-melting fun without moving a muscle. :)

...arcade games that cost 25 cents to pay :)

Now they're what? $19.95?

I frequent arcades fairly often to see what's new and how much of the "oldies" remain. Surprisingly, a lot of the physics-based skill games have not changed over the last 2 decades or so. However, video games continue ot get more elaborate, sophistocated and submersive every year. I've seen a few of the new VR games take $2.25 per play, with most classics like Pac-Man still an astonishing $1.00. Coinds are also a thing of the past in the modern arcade.
It's all swype-cards now, which makes it even harder to know how much money you're spending to play, and really promotes the "pay until I'm out of credits" paradigm, though that's not any different than us kids who emptied our pockets of quarters and went home with our tails between our legs because we just couldn't get past that one level. :)

TIL... there is something called "eyebrow threading".

Apparently people run dental floss through eyebrows and get paid for it.

That sounds about as useful as eating Tide Pods or snorting condoms. I suppose it's no different than having an eyebrow ring (which is also a rather unpleasant look).

You will have to look it up, it is a way to sculpt the eyebrows.  I want to know how somebody thought it up.
