A little colonic street sweeper cruising my back alley removing cornflakes and bits of beef that got stuck - keeping me as pristine, sparkly and cancer free as I was in 1979. I'll be blunt...

I'd totally put that up my ass. Keep the mileage down. We wear out. But we can increase our useful mileage limits. Technology will increase our useful cycle. I'm sure of it. It is how we'll reach beyond the solar system.

If we live that long. I'm utopian about this.

I prefer my prison rape analogy.
If I'm going to get prison raped either way, I'd prefer the gentle and romantic cell mate than the brutal shower rape by an angry gang.

When you've hung out with criminals most of your life, you tend to contemplate the possibility of certain unpleasant scenarios.

At least if I were ever to go in, I would have thought through the possibilities. You on the other hand, might find yourself in the showers looking at the soap on the ground and rushing through your options hastily. ;)

If it comforts you, in regards to this particular theme - I've also contemplated swarms of drones that sit as sentries on the roof of my house surveying for roof damage, doing security, and applying "pest control" to any bio-signature that crosses the perimeter of my property line. Part of the swarm would follow you when you depart the house, recording your journey, assessing traffic congestion ahead, and providing vehicle and personal security when you arrive at your destination.

Also, little nano bots planting rows of hair follicles in my barren scalp and tending to them to ensure that I have a lush, thick, Fabioesque head of flowing locks.

It isn't *just* about my arse.

Id jump on it without a second thought.

I guess being a westworld redux style host would be ok too, but i dont think that is really a true transfer of 'you' but a 'copy' made. Not fond of that. I want to still be me.

( sort of forgot about that show. season 3 really pissed me off.  trash )

Now don't get me wrong, for personal use, a MiSTer is at least as good as a real Amiga, and arguably better than one. :D

Yeah, you seem like a real bad ass.

I know a few correction officers, there are not many rapes in prison.  Most of the sex in prison is consensual. Your prison rape sex fantasy probably won't happen. Condoms are given out for free or the prison store sells them.  Besides, if you you can choose between rough sex or gentle sex, it isn't rape.

I have friends that you wouldn't feel comfortable around, though. I guarantee it. I think I'd like to see you sit around and talk about your knowledge of prison through your friends who are correction officers. That sounds like a lot of fun.

I don't know why it would be fun knowing correction officers. They are not "friends" they are part of the group I play poker with.. or did play poker with before COVID. For the most part these guys didn't talk shop.
There were several poker groups, there seems to be a correction officer or two in each group.  One group had a new correction officer, he used to talk the most. The others, not so much.

The only story I heard from a retired officer, when he was in a more secure prison, with more long term residents he saw a male prisoner that had developed breasts.

Nah, I meant hanging out with some of my friends who've done time in Folsom for charges like, "aggravated assault with intent to commit great bodily harm".

Which I think is, judicial talk for, "beat someone until they were permanently disabled".

I grew up with these guys and they're my best friends - and they're *different*. I have friends who are LEO too - and while there is a common thread in experience - both sides have a highly different perspective.

One guy, who is tough as nails, came out and the first time I saw him - he was just too *touchy* and grabby and huggy. And it is a dominance kind of thing. The same thing you get if you're around a dog that crowds you and kind of herds you and you think to yourself, "it is a few seconds until this pit bull is trying to hump my leg."

Everyone has encountered this kind of dog. This guy *became* that kind of dog. He wasn't that way BEFORE he went in. We never talked about what happened inside. I'm pretty certain I don't want to know.

County jail is pretty safe. There are beatings there, but not rape. Federal prison - you don't really hear about rape - because the prisoners who are raped don't make it through their sentences. Rape is just the courtship phase leading up to "murdered".

State prison is a gamble. Some of them are low-security, white collar prisons for people with non-violent crimes and low risk - and those are generally called "country clubs". Other State prisons are not so pleasant.

I'm *not* a badass. But I don't ever want to have to deal with the potential of *beatings* in County.

I also had a friend who was a prison guard at Folsom for a while. He quit when they were under staffed, he was the only guard in some block at the time, and they told him there was a prisoner drunk in his cell and he had to get that guy and take him to the infirmary. He showed up at the cell, and there was a 280 pound ripped black guy laying on the floor naked and drunk going, "Open that cell and c'mon in here to take me to the hole, skinny lil' white boy..."

He called for backup several times and was told no one was available, so he walked down to the front desk, turned in his stuff, and quit. Because he knows prison rape happens.

In general, having a job where you only get to see the worst of society as a daily act changes you. As does living with them, if even for a short time.  Best case you become more disconnected, worst case, far worse than that.

And i totally agree, what happens in prison/jail/etc often depends on the one you are in, and why you are there. And of course how you act, as being a jerk is not tolerated in most. But in many, if you mind your own business, you are not bothered. Not saying its fun to be inside but your survival is often up to you.

To a certain extent, I'll agree with that.

You can keep your head down.

You're more likely to run into the type who looks for the person trying to blend into the shadow and *targets* that person maliciously, among the incarcerated. That kind of anti-social personality is more likely to be incarcerated, and to be part of the circles that end up incarcerated.

There are two strategies. Try and stay completely neutral and keep your head down and mind your own business. That is a hard balancing act. You don't want to become a favorite of the guards because of good behavior - other inmates will think you're a snitch. You also have no protection. It is JUST you.

Or, you join one of the gangs, generally along ethnic lines. The friend I mention above grew up as a white kid in the suburbs, long hair, BMX bicycles, heavy metal, smoking weed. Rocker things.

He is adopted, and brown, though - indistinctly "Puerto Rican" brown enough that he can fit into any of the ethnic groups he wants - just by changing his language.

He went with the vatos inside - which is the FURTHEST thing from any of his experiences growing up. But that is where he decided to put his flag to get him through. He is a huge MFer, too... but he knew the "going your own way," at Folsom prison was a rough road to take, even for a yoked Barbarian who was in for almost beating a man to death with his bare hands.

Not really knowing anyone here personally, I could be wrong... but based on stereotypes of highly intellectual people who spend a lot of time online in nerdy corner of the Internets... I give the hardest of us here on Uncensored a 20% chance of making it through using the "heads down" method. ;)

Join a gang and get hard as quick as possible. Make the Aryans your LAST choice. They're the weakest.
