after being fed up with her samsung galaxy ace freezing, loosing GSM connectivity, and so on, my GF got herself a Sony Z, which she is happy with as can be.
cheap but very robust alternative seems to be the Moto G
I'm not yet all set whether i'm going to purchase a Z, Z1 or Z2 at the end of the month.
I can only conclude, however, that it's a catholic app, because it
likes to randomly pop up reminders that I'm behind on my reading list
or haven't looked at anything in a while. I'm being guilt tripped by a
Bible app. That's not cool, man.
Sig, even five minutes with the Bible can make a tremendous difference in your day. Don't you really really really want to open the app right now?
(Yeah, I've got it too. As much as I love always having a Bible with me, it's just as obnoxious as any other pop-up. And I did indeed use App Ops to shut it up.)

I use a Jolla phone. Or rather the Jolla phone as there is only one. I love it. http://jolla.com
It is a true linux phone but can run lots of android apps, since it has a virtual machine for that. Which I rarely use, but it does work nice enough for me.
My GF is happy with her Iphone 4 (not even S), I heard of other people that the Sony Z things are nice. Oppo sells android phones with Cyanogen mod preinstalled, so you are even google free, if you want, heard good stuff about them.
they want to put up a tower near the house but it has not been approved. There are no towers close. You can
not get a signal with a T-Mobile phone.
I gotta Sony Satio - which is one of the last symbian phones. Great phone no apps :) I got 2 browsers on this one the default sony browser - very good , and the Opera mini browser -- webcit looks terrible in both :( , unusable . BUT! I just got a new mail client, a shareware one with 20+ days left, its cool i will probably buy it. I can now open all rooms as seperate mailboxes/imap folders on my phone which is way cool. I love this room based flexibility :)
"I'm Loving It!" \o/
his smiling face on two apps. I wondered W.W.A.D. (What Would Art Do) and was shocked, shocked I tell you to
see that Art's has an app to connect to Windows desktops. Why would he connect to a Windows machine?
There is something I have noticed about all apps, under description they don't describe the app, what they do is
tell you about all the various positive reviews, how many people have installed the app, if it has been written
up in magazines, etc, they may or may not get to the product description after clicking the "more" button.
And sometimes my little round head is required to log in to a 'doze box.
Thankfully it isn't all that often. Most of the time I just use it to get to my home computer on VNC.
Hmm... I should look at Jump Desktop. I don't often have a need to get to a desktop from a mobile phone, but it might be all the more helpful if it does aboth RDP and VNC.
Maybe I shouldn't have used "little round head" but the icon is very smalland round.
Assume a spherical head of uniform density...

It is a pity that only the Cuppertino based BSD distro really got it working with their own products. Which is quiet an art, when you compare it to the Redmond based disaster collection of software-posing-as-an-OS stretching across PCs and mobiles.
description talks about the world cup.
