Office chair? I've twice bought chairs in the $200-300 range from Staples with a Tempurpedic seat foam, which were very nice. Stay away from their faux leather, though. Stick with fabric on the base and mesh in the back.
Ziggy? Yes, I do recall that name. I mean, everything else is pretty fuzzy from so long ago, but yeah, Ziggy was there. I may have been Corellian, and maybe Boelcke in my college days.

Yeah but they are cool bugs. When you started with "what sort of idiot would..." I thought it was going to end in stomping the mantis. That would have made me upset.
Cute insects shall not be harmed. Bees, ladybugs, mantises. Ladybugs and mantises are also vicious predators, in addition to being cute.
