So, you mean it is a Citadel BBS? 

I've never been a member of a Citadel where the room topics adhered to. It is the weird dichotomy of Citadel format. They're so good at encouraging online discussion, they're the prototype for all online message forums to come. 

But, like almost all message forums - the nature of human conversation means that conversations seem to go off-topic and meander around. Eventually the conversation runs out, or someone has a topic that they post in the right room and it brings it back on topic, *or* the Admin and aides get so frustrated they crack down and some of the users are ecstatic and others complain about excessive policing that stifles natural conversation. 

Then it all repeats again.

It seems worse than "normal", *every* room has topic drift in it, it started over the past week or so.

its my fault. I am the disturbance in the calm. I ride on the wind of night, i am death.

It seems worse than "normal", *every* room has topic drift in it, it started over the past week or so.

It is worse than ever. I mean, for this cycle. It'll get better again, eventually. 

It is the way of the Citadel BBS.

I'd settle for a BBS full of posts where the posts were 95% quote and 5% new message. We're having a lull over on TSBBS. A deep lull. Right as I start to get everything dialed in right where I want it.

Topic drift happens. What I find more disruptive is the number of messages that are 90% quote and 10% message. Where is Five Fresh Fish when you need him?

I almost tried to find one with tons, just to post here to be funny.

And just think, they were upset at me when I first came here for leaving subject blank and NOT quoting! 

There is no making some people happy. We call these people, "Sysops". 

Most, if not all of my posts this evening should have had an implied /sarcasm tag. 

Just to prepare you, as you Goto through the BBS. 

For some reason "Lobby" is the last room that shows up on my list.  It goes from the Welcome screen on to whatever room has new messages.

It helps to know all your messages are sarcasm, it will save on eye rolling.
