Most wars are when you get down to it. Tho, perhaps ill agree this has been worse than many since it was years in the making, of Zelenskyy laundering the worlds money and Russia not getting any of the cut.

We should not be making deals with our enemies, be they trade deals, arms control deals, nuclear deals or any other kind of deal. Nothing good ever comes of it.
