There's probably so much overlap between the UN and the military/industrial complex, that they'll happily sit on their asses and let the war begin. But remember, total annihilation of the world is not something that they want.
If the whole world is destroyed then they cannot continue their luxurious lives of grift.
I can't remember the last time I saw the UN do anything useful. Whenever I see them in the news it's always some dude up front with a towel on his head leading a condemnation of Israel.

I commend Mr. Netanyahu for having an amount of restraint that I certainly wouldn't. I'd have bombed Iran and "Palestine" and all other jihad nations out of existence.
