That's pretty cool. Next step is for things to get to the point where
the really hardcore gamers *prefer* Linux, either as a badge of honor
or for some real or perceived superiority.
I think that is getting there for a small segment of gamers.
One of my best non-horse-or-dog friends is as anti-linux as it gets but he openly believes Linux is a better gaming platform, as long as the games you want are supported.
There is also people complaining that some Steam Deck clones are running Windows instead of SteamOS :)

JayzTwoCents switched this week. He hasn't touched Linux in years. It's well known by now that PewDiePie switched. A few more high profile ones like that and things are going to get good fast.

I'm running Batocera like a madman. It isn't MiSTer FPGA - but - as an external drive attached to a NUC i5 that runs all the shit I want to run - it is a win for Linux. It is easy - as Windows is getting harder and harder to deal with. Ig must be happy.
