No. Concerning Nurb, it's a long story.
And Nurb calls ME an "authoritarian", anti-freedom bigot when HE thinks the government should shut down religious organizations.

Well, um. never mind and forget i asked. However it has been enlightening to witness this discourse and will remember this for future interactions. Tho, i would not say entertaining. A lot of hostility around these parts.
Nurbie may be many things, but that is not one of them. Get a life, and stop imposing your obsession onto others.

You conveniently failed to mention WHY he feels this way, to spin the narrative in your direction, when you are lying about him. His statement about this matter has nothing to do with freedom, and you know it. While i wont get into if i agree with his assessment or not, he has clearly stated in the past that feels that organized religion is a criminal organization, not an 'exercise of rights'. Therefore, should be banned and its leaders put into prison, or executed. He's never said that a person cant believe what they want, even if he feels they are totally incorrect.

Well darn, i see 'it' is still around, and still being a problem. Oh well, perhaps next time i have to pop in, the filth will have purged himself from the area.
Coming from an A-hole like you, being called that is a compliment.
And yes, all 3 of us here call each other that. so phhhft.
Sun Aug 17 2025 15:44:05 UTC from SouthernComputerGeekIf you call your spouse your "partner" you are weird.
I wasn't thinking about you when I wrote that, but even so you prove my point.

While im sure i will regret this, but what the hell, im going to weigh in anyway.
Now im NOT saying i agree or disagree with any of the perceptions on the 3rd parties part ( as its irrelevant how i feel about the core topic ), your response did not address the original misconception she brought up, and you cherry picked from her reply to avoid the actual statement where you were called out as being incorrect. It seems to be a deflection.
Do you always have issues admitting fault and clearly gaslighting, or is it just in this case where the other parties don't agree with your orientation? Your answer will decide if i bother reading any of your posts in the future or not.

No one seems to understand this is an unamerican, totalitarian position. The 1st Amendment WAS INDEED intended to protect organized religion. It does not merely protect beliefs.

And Zoe has a habit of making sockpuppet accounts to try to discredit me (which is something IG can confirm if you don't believe me). She is a despicable person.
From what she is saying, he believes organized religion ( not belief ) is a criminal enterprise. So in that frame of mindset, his argument does make sense that its not protected.
I wont debate if he is right or wrong, but you are not looking at it from the same viewpoint and instead your own, biased one.

The right to have organized religion is a freedom guaranteed by the first amendment. So yes it IS about freedom, Zoe.

Why would anyone take the time to bother with that? And i'm far to new here to know who to believe or not to believe.

The First Amendment to the US Constitution:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Emphasis added to the part Nurb and Zoe ignore.
