Due to "their" unacceptable mis-treatment of our new board member on her arrival, it brought the 2 of us together as friends, which in the long run will be a wonderful thing. I am glad to have met her. We have so much in common, other than location.

My intent was to imply that this is what america has become, in a somewhat humorous way. Not that i support us being that way, as regardless of our other disagreements i think we can agree the government needs to stay the F out of our lives. Regarding item #2 Illegal operations are just that, illegal. This has nothing to do with speech, its about crime. Organized religion is a criminal construct, just like the mafia. Therefore the 1st amendment does not apply to the 'church'.
Believe in whatever mythical creature you like, that is fine, and state your belief in public and talk to your friends ( but not at my house, someone tries that here, they get kicked out. its private property ), that is fine too as you have that right ( i also have the right not to listen, or flip you the bird ), but organized religion is a crime entity which prays on the weak that believe in the appropriate octopus, who are promised 'protection', as long as they comply with demands and contribute to the leaders. And those that don't, the Church seeks to threaten to harm, or kill. And throughout history, have turned those threats into action and committed those atrocities and harmed and murdered millions. Just like the Mafia, or terrorist organisations.( tho not at the sheer volume of death that organized religion has dished out over the millennia )
