I would always laugh driving my car two blocks over and seeing my cat in someone's font lawn. I often wondered
if he had other homes he went to. We have a cat that always comes over and visits us, sleeps on our porch.

My sister did buy a collar camera for a dog/cat collar.
Not the greatest quality of pictures especially if the camera was moving as if it was attached to an animals
neck.
It didn't always work.
It didn't always write the jpg data correctly to the flash drive.
The pet's head might get in the way of the picture.
Lots of pictures of the ground.

It worked better with the dog because the dog's neck was higher however only two or three out of twenty
pictures came out well and if you were lucky one had a picture worth viewing.

Attach a microphone to your dog's collar. You might get lucky as your dog meets up with his doggie friend in the park....

His friend: "Hi, I'm Robespierre - that's R O B E S P I E R R E !!"
Your dog: "Hi, I'm Fido - that's P H E I D E A U X !!"

Now I've gotta get a dog just so I can name him Pheideaux.

Pheideaux looks like it should be pronounced fay-doh to me.

Phaedeaux looks like the right spelling, to my weird eyes.

But I get it... vince-q has been subverted by so many years of Wagner, he's approaching the vowels from that man's perspective.

(I'd suggest Phiedeaux, but that just looks plain weird to me).

How about "Der Ring des Phliebelungen"....

Yes, that's closer.

Phliebdeaux? A man, a dog, and a baker walk into the land of the Nibelungs...

Heh. Sounds like you want it renamed to "Die Phliebersinger von Nurnburg"...

I had to take my cat to the vet today. He gets car sick. He was kind enough not to puke on the absorbant pads
I place down, he puked on the floor carpet. Then he laid in it.
I didn't feed him breakfast so it wasn't anything more than a foamy mess but I am glad he didn't ruin those pads
I placed for him and puked on the carpet.

That is just so typically.... CAT!

When my cat needs to travel by car it is always in her Cat Carrier.
One time I made the mistake of putting her in the car (and not in the cat carrier) - the car is an MR2 Spyder - while the top was down. She immediately hopped out, jumped onto the front hood and assumed her "I am the Queen of the Universe" pose as I quickly moved to get her back into the car, as I asked her "what do you think you are, a hood ornament?" <very evil cat look> resulted!

I have put the cat in a cat carrier and just used a leash. I thought the free range would make him less upset
and therefore less sick then being stuck inside a small carrier, I was wrong.
I had one of those vet carrier boxes but it wore quickly. That seemed to work the best. It is very difficult
to get a harness on him, and very difficult to get him in a carrier. So much for the just a leash.

I might switch to a doctor that has a mobile unit and makes house calls. The current vet is about a half hour
away but gets good reviews from everybody and has clients that travel further than I do to get there. I went to
a "cats only" vet but after two visits I felt it was more expensive and I didn't feel confident in their work.
They messed up once and I wasn't sure they did the work they said they were going to do the second time.

Getting puss to the vet is always an adventure. They quickly make the "car = vet" association, and then you are *done*, poor human.

The exception was my Oliver (choc. point Siamese) many years back. He **loved** going to the vet. And once he was up on the examination table, the vet would take his temperature, and as soon as the thermometer was "you know where" Oliver would start purring and rolling his eyes.

The vet, of course, would be in stitches in what today can only be described as a "ROFLMFAO" moment.

We all used to seriously question Oliver's sexuality. That, shortly thereafter, ended - he ended up siring about 45 pedigreed progeny, all "papered" etc.

I've known straight men who, erm, liked that kind of stimulation.

It's funny. Cats often love to play in boxes. Hmm.

As we all know, cats which normally have four legs have 8 to 10 legs while trying to resist being placed into a cat carrier. It is impossible to tuck all of those legs in at the same time.

The solution is actually quite simple: cover the cat's eyes. One hand over the eyes, other hand pushes the belly towards the carrier opening. The cat can't see what's going on and folds right through the door.

This cat isn't catish, he doesn't like boxes, laser pointers, tuna, climbing on things, etc. If I open a can of
tuna or chicken he likes to drink the liquid "tuna juice" that the tuna/chicken is packed in but he wont eat any
chunks of meat.

Oh ham.... he loves ham.

...from which can be drawn two conclusions:

1. your cat is insane
2. your cat is also goyische
