I have a comment regarding the report released recently regarding the United State's use of torture during Shrub's presidency.

I said that the use of torture contributes no good, actionable, reliable information, that a person tortured will say anything he or she thinks will stop the torture without concern for truth or anything else, back when we talked about this kind of stuff. I was told that I was wrong, that the government did get actionable, useful information, and (not putting it in their words) to stuff it.

The report now reveals that no actionable, useful information came from those techniques, and that our politicians heard lies regarding where any useful information came from, with regards to torture. Now, some politicians want to jail the people who were culpable for this.

Well, not really. They want to jail the people guilty of performing the torture. They want to jail the ones who hid this stuff, I think, as well. But personally, I hold the Bush Administration culpable for creating an environment that encouraged that kind of behavior.

Unfortunately, nobody will hold the feet of those guys to the fire. I expect nobody will even think of it.

The "report", released by Dingy Harry Reid & Co, may purport to say that.

However, the intelligence community is most strenuously disagreeing with their exceptionally partisan "report" released some 10 to 12 years after the alleged behaviors. Which, of course, leads directly to questioning of motive from a "dying Democrat" Senate.

This whole thing is nothing more than a painfully obvious smokescreeen intended to do nothing more than distract public attention from the seemingly endless pack of outright lies told by Jonathan Gruber during the original passage of Obamacare, and to this day. Lies on the record, literally recorded. Lies to try and deny the original lies. Etc. etc. etc.

The Dems don't want you concentrating on *that* so they, once again, did wat they do best.

They just whooped up another phoney "holy war" about something over 10 years past that has absolutely nothing to do with today. Period.

As is the case with everything the Democrap party has done since 22 Nov 1963, they are

FUCKING LIARS.

Period.

Democrats back
Outgoing Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is blaming the Democratic
Party’s failure in the midterms on HealthCare.gov’s infamous
glitches, and nothing else.

I suppose that's easier than admitting the truth. Harry Reid is CERTAINLY not about to do *that*.

Yeah, that's the response I expected.

Claim 'partisen', bury head in sand.

So, I will wait to see if this report really is partisen before I respond again. Because I strongly expect that it isn't as partisen is purported, and that the intelligence community is in damage control.

But because corruption is so rampant in our government, and I don't really trust either Republicans or Democrats, I'll concede it's possible this report is a sham. I just strongly suspect it isn't.

Whether the report is a sham or not, it is the TIMING that makes it, ultimately, a DemLib propaganda device.

It is "Harry Reid's Senate" in their last gasp.

HERE is the question you SHOULD be examining:

If this report is accurate, and as damning as Reid would like you to think, then...

WHERE was it DURING THE ELECTION??

I see you to be expert in the leading fallacious technique employed by all those who have nothing of merit to contribute.

Argumentum ad hominem is the true mark of an asshole. So now we know where *you* belong.

Coming from a racist birther whose whole m.o. is to lob ad hominems, that's hypocritical in the extreme.

Vince, you really are a fucking idiot. And I *do* mean to offend.

Well, as I said, corruption is rampant throughout all facets of our government, as far as I can see.

The report could still be accurate, but timed Just So.

It's not an ad hominem if you accuse someone of a serious breach of ethical norms, by the way... that's something beyond ad hominem and far more serious, eh?

Voters say make White House staff testify on Benghazi
A majority of American voters wants Congress to keep investigating Benghazi
-- and they want to hear from White House staffers, who they suspect of a
cover-up.

Yeah, I'd like to know about that as well, honestly. There is an issue of murder involved in that one.
