Subject: Re: bye bye meathead

[Reply] [ReplyQuoted] [Headers] [Print]

Honestly i don't care about either of them ( or 90% of the world population ), but id expect 'state' leaders to be a bit more adult in matters like this. They are no longer 'private citizens' and should be always taking the high road.

Of course here in the US that ship has sailed.   And was sunk as it left the shore.

"I'm not glad he's dead, but I'm glad he's gone."

Let's not pretend that we're going to miss him. He was a douchebag through and through.

Sorry, but drug dealers are not terrorists, nor an excuse to invade other countries.

Dealers don't want to kill any of their customers. Regardless of what one feels about recreational drug use they are running a *business* and killing off their customers intentionally would be counter productive to that business, both directly and indirectly.  And secondly, many drugs that illegal to be used for recreational purposes here in the US are actually legal to use for this purpose in some parts of the world. And even in those cases where its illegal here, its NOT a military intervention issue, especially in international or other sovereign areas.. This is a power/control/attention grab and nothing else.

I'm over this *****.   Someone needs to declare America a terrorist org, and take the appropriate action.  Hey Putin.. you listening?

( and fentanyl, IS legal here, via doctors scripts so its NOT an illegal drug. Its use outside of the doctors orders is, but the drug itself is not. So its a lie, like so many other things this admin has put out )

LoL

"well,  even tho we had a month, and knowing the deadline, its going to take time to follow the law and release all the documents.. "  and it seems at least one, if not more, have been 'removed' after release. ( something about a desk drawer with a couple if Trump images, its gone from the DoJ site, but was copied before it was pulled, and the numbering has a hole in it... )

Now, again i'm one that feels that 90% of the 'circle' didnt to anything wrong ( other than ignore what was going on, which while legal, is immoral and they need 'called out' for it ), things like this does not bode well for ones 'image'.

I still dont ever expect them to release it all, they have an 'out', and will use it.  And just looking at the people that have been named so far, man that is one hell of a 'circle of friends'  even some unexpected musicians in it..

Um. Really?

"In a post on social media platform Sunday night, Mr. Trump said Landry "understands how essential Greenland is to our National Security, and will strongly advance our Country's Interests for the Safety, Security, and Survival of our Allies, and indeed, the World."

Landry responded directly to Mr. Trump on social media, saying, "It's an honor to serve you in this volunteer position to make Greenland a part of the U.S."

Now, if its truly a strategic location as is claimed, i would be in support of working with their government to plant a base or something. But this route is wrong. Just as wrong as what we are doing to Venezuela, without congress approval even.

This nation has become everything it fought against.

Wake me up when Bill Gates and Bill Clinton are in jail. Until then, the Epstein files remain a nothingburger.

Also, there is ZERO chance that there's any dirt on President Trump in there.
If there was, the Bad People would have made sure it got surfaced years ago, you can count on that.

I know i have said it before but i don't think 90% did anything 'wrong'. But they knew, and that needs to come out clearly displayed, and they be chastised in public for not speaking out. And yes, that does include Trump, as i feel he was in the 90%. It also includes a lot of others, as for me its not 'about' him, just that he is on the 90% list and its his people that keep delaying/avoiding/suppressing at this point.

But that said about the 90%, there are documents that would nail some of the 10% to the wall. We wont ever see those, the house of cards would collapse.

I'm not the 90% or the 10%. I'm the 1%.

I am the bottom 0.09% of the 1%  - effectively poor.

But probably immensely wealthy compared to you. I bought 1 present for my wife today - a $400 pair of shoe.

Why exactly do you hate me for that? What did I do to YOU that I can spend that much on some pumps??

And yet I still struggle to afford Porsche.

But i dont systemically hate people with more money than i. Its not the cash in the bank that i care about.  I hate them ( or dont ) based on how they got there, and how they (ab)use it.    I know a number of people that are very wealthy who did not stamp on everyone in sight along the way, take advantage of them ( and nature ) and then use their 'power' once they got there to hurt others ( or nature ).  They are fine. Its the others that i don't like.

The problem is when the people who do not have power and money buy into the rhetoric that the rich and powerful feed them. That is what is happening now.

Trump is one of the BEST things to happen in my adult life since Reagan - and like Reagan - most of the people who will benefit the MOST are convinced by elites that he is the WORST thing to happen to them.

In fact, Obama was the WORST thing to happen to them - and most of them think he was the BEST thing.

It blows my mind.

Fri Dec 26 2025 13:49:45 UTC from IGnatius T Foobar

History is full of demonstrations of that bit of human nature: someone comes along who speaks an authentic message of hope, and those with power and money simply cannot tolerate it.  That person must be destroyed.

Ghandi, Christ, MLK, Trump, Charlie Kirk, etc.

When the powerful elite build their lives around lying cheating and stealing, the one thing they cannot tolerate existing is the genuine article.

I think this is so hard to determine. I live in this weird space where outsourcing and offshoring ruined my career - but my current lifestyle is based on outsourcing and offshoring. I basically don't ACTUALLY have to work because of this - but I also CAN'T work because of this.

But if you're someone who didn't happen to benefit from the offshoring/outsourcing - you might see me and my lifestyle as abuse.

You might see it as "evil" .

When I worked at Intel - Andy Grove came out and said, "I do not like or agree with offshoring and outsourcing - but if it isn't prohibited, our competition will do it. If we do not follow suit, we will be out-competed, and fail. So do not blame INTEL for this - blame the politicians. I think immigrants should come to America and make their own future while making America stronger, like I did."

He seriously said this - and Intel censured him - and later a release was published with him recanting this statement.

And I understand ALL of that.

So the question becomes - who do you point the finger at? Trump has been clear that he thinks corporations are the problem and he would like to end these abuses. From Bush to Obama - they all continued to increase H1B visas and pro-offshoring legislation. Trump gets called a "protectionist," for pushing legislation that Andy Grove, an immigrant, quietly supports, but Intel won't let him say so.

Just an interesting observation.

He speaks bluntly, frankly, and I think honestly. Everyone who has worked for any of his companies always seems to have great things to say about how he rewards meritocracy and doesn't pull punches about cutting the fat from the bone.

He runs the country the same way he allegedly runs his businesses. Things aren't candy coated - and if people aren't delivering his goals - he doesn't seem to hesitate to remove them from their appointments.

I'm not one of them, i dislike "sides" and judge people on their own, and yes, he was the worse in my living history.  Until the current one. ( i cant judge about distant past, we have had some pretty bad ones, but i didn't live thru it, so to speak )

Even Biden, as bad as he was, didn't effect my daily life. So while he sucked too, it was 'less bad' than O.

That is just how fanboys work, for any subject they are total devoted fans of. Its just the nature of the 'business' since they see the world thru their lens filters.

But to be fair, we are all guilty to an extent.
