Right. Socializing any part of the private sector is always bad, even if we happen to have some affection for a particular mood when "our" guys do it and we like that particular transaction. There cannot be exceptions.

No, its not illegal as congress carved out exceptions for people in office. Should it be? Its not an easy answer really. I am not sure its right to stop citizens from investing just because they were elected, but I feel it should be regulated at the least to reduce direct manipulation. - merging all citizen data into one database to be actively monitored for 'unpatriotic behavior'
- threatening or killing adversaries to change/remove incriminating stories ( cant prove this one but we all know its true )
- 'manufactured wars' on other continents. ( at least they are not fake.. yet... )
