Any % is bad.

Even if its done elsewhere..

Now, while i agree that 10% of a single company is not end of
world, this opens a really bad door.  When i grew up this sort
of maneuver would be considered communistic..

Sorry, but if you think the government owning 10% of private firms is bad, I have something to say about it.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LOL HAHAHAHAHAHAHA rolf

(That means "Wait until it is 20% to a third like in here" in darknetuser language.)

Right.  Socializing any part of the private sector is always bad, even if we happen to have some affection for a particular mood when "our" guys do it and we like that particular transaction.   There cannot be exceptions.

The US taking a stake in Intel is no different from the terrorist state of Saudi Arabia taking over our oil wells, or Zoltar Hitler Mamdani trying to run government grocery stores.

That would work if the media and other institutions weren't active participants in national affairs and all on the same side.

The democratic process would work a lot better if we rounded up the media and Hitlered them.

But its wrong when Pelosi does it ..  and we need to investigate!!

No, its not illegal as congress carved out exceptions for people in office. Should it be? Its not an easy answer really. I am not sure its right to stop citizens from investing just because they were elected, but I feel it should be regulated at the least to reduce direct manipulation.  But regardless, id like some consistency here..  Don't bitch when other people do what you are doing yourself.

  • U.S. President Donald Trump has spent at least $100 million on bonds since taking office, according to CNBC calculations based on official filings.
  • As well as purchasing debt issued by local governments, school boards and gas districts, Trump bought corporate debt issued by Meta, Home Depot and T-Mobile.

And the gerrymandering war begins.  Not that its a new concept on how to cheat us citizens out of our voice, but now it will be combative. Consolation is its now out in the open for all to see.

Washington — The California Supreme Court will not prevent Democrats from moving forward Thursday with a plan to redraw congressional districts.

Republicans in the Golden State had asked the state's high court to step in and temporarily block the redistricting efforts, arguing that Democrats — who are racing to put the plan on the ballot later this year — had skirted a rule requiring state lawmakers to wait at least 30 days before passing newly introduced legislation.

But in a ruling late Wednesday, the court declined to act, writing that the Republican state lawmakers who filed the suit had "failed to meet their burden of establishing a basis for relief at this time."

The California legislature is set to vote on the redistricting plan on Thursday, which would send the bill to California Gov. Gavin Newsom's desk for approval.

" Retaliatory lawfare is great, when our side does it. " I know , complaining is pointless but the public hypocrisy, and lack of understanding of concept 'be careful what you wish for, as the shoe will change back at some point', is frustrating.

I know it will sound conspiratorial, but i really do think people in general are slowly getting stupider. I don't think its due to simple ignorance, its a true increase of inability to process information. I don't know if its by design, de-evolution, or just a side effect of the modern world.. ( or even a combination of all 3 )

So Maxwell now cliams no client list.  They got to her.  Was it that meeting with Trump's personal attorny and teh DOJ? Or the people behind the curtrian? Who knows. We will never know the truth.

And she claims that "Trump was always a gentleman in all respects "  lol, like him or not, he never is that. It's simply not his way of operating.

Once again 'the machine' wins.

So, at one point i asked "what city after DC". Figuring this was just the opening of the door.

Well that has been answered: Chicago. At least the plans were announced of the intent. its not been enacted yet.

Lets see

  • federal military take over of cities that didn't ask for help.
  • actively demanding of redistricting so that you stay in power and voters don't get a say
  • demanding % of profit from companies to do business.
  • demanding stake in private companies
  • partnering behind the scenes of private companies for the sole benefit of friends
  • lawfare  attacking your adversaries  ( or just imprisonment for the hell of it )
  • merging all citizen data into one database to be actively monitored for 'unpatriotic behavior'
  • threatening or killing adversaries to change/remove incriminating stories ( cant prove this one but we all know its true )
  • 'manufactured wars' on other continents. ( at least they are not fake.. yet... )
  • de-sexualization of the population
  • dumbification of the population
  • a few others i'm not thinking of at the moment. And of course stuff in other places like the UK restricting speech, or even flying your home flag.

There is a name of this road we are heading down, again ( history always repeats, people never learn ). its not a good one either.

Orwell must be spinning in his grave about now.

And no, this is not a targeted Trump bash as prior US admins and other countries are involved too, but he is clearly driving the US train, accelerating it.

RFK JR is an elitist idiot and overstepping his bounds. Demanding another country pull down a research paper just because he didn't like it? He is going to get more people killed than Wuhan and Facui combined. Just not immediately, or directly. He is killing off so much research its not funny.

I still would have loved to been in congress questioning him during his hearings " ok, so in your last 2 patients did bla bla" "oh,  you had no patients, you are not a doctor and no actual medical experience. No more questions, i relinquish the rest of my time"

"US health secretary and vaccine skeptic Robert F. Kennedy Jr has called for the retraction of a Danish study that found no link between aluminium in vaccines and chronic diseases in children"

"“President Xi would like me to come to China. It’s a very important relationship. As you know, we are taking a lot of money in from China because of the tariffs and different things,” he said. “I hear so many stories about ‘We are not going to allow their students,’ but we are going to allow their students to come in. We are going to allow it. It’s very important — 600,000 students.”
