I think it's time to change my connectivity. Working on it now.
Thanks, man.
We'll make something work soon though.
Seems to be doing better today.
At first i thought perhaps you were gone.. it was totally dead.. but i asked.. nope, just network problems..
I think last time I was trying to log on I'd had some whiskey, and I timed out before the connection did. :D

Heh. It'll be a bit before I make permanent changes but they are in the works. In the mean time, just raise an alarm if anything isn't working quite right.
It isn't Citadel, it's my connectivity arrangements.
Should we all get out the ham radios and get back into packet radio? :)

Same shady operators out of NYC? They were pretty cool - but I felt like we were probably sharing bandwidth with ISIS.
I'm listening to Sting, "I Hope The Russians Love Their Children Too,"
I love the Police, and Sting is a helluva artist - but he invented TDS back when it was still RDS - and he was wrong. Reagan brought the Soviet Union down.

Not my style. Way to 'pop' for me.
My style is more displayed over the the music room . or some lyrics i posted . Or.. the stuff i posted out on YouTube that my bot made.

And we all know why things are slow lately, but it seems ironic. feels like its 1984 again at times.. lol
Another bad weekend i see. Took several tries to get this far. Be glad when your network is back on track.
Yeah. Someone was massively scanning our git repo and hogging all the bandwidth. I'm in the process of moving things around. Just a few minutes ago I changed the web server over to another connection, so that should leave more breathing room for Uncensored. It might also make our search engine run faster.
Its flying again today.

Over the coming days I'll be moving everything around, so bear with me, but at the end we should have 1 Gbps instead of 5 Mbps and everything is going to fly.
I know i was not complaining, i hope the others were not either. I was just trying to be helpful, i know how it goes, all too well. I know myself, we appreciate what you do.
( my dial-up joke was just that, a joke. )
Mon Nov 24 2025 21:18:18 UTC from IGnatius T FoobarIt should be. All of the citadel.org properties other than Uncensored are connected to a separate block of bandwidth. And you should check them out too (including the search engine) because they should be running faster too.

So if I remember correctly - one of the differences between how you have Uncensored set up, and how I had WallOfHate - is that I can embed an image hosted on another site in a post, but I can't put an image into the post so that it is saved locally on Uncensored, correct?
Neither site ever had any difference, they both ran the same software. You might have thought otherwise because big images loaded slower?
I feel like I could cut and paste inline images into messages on my BBS - but that doesn't work on yours. It has been a while. Maybe a false memory. Maybe I was doing it somehow else.
I'd like to post screenshots of what my V4/SA FPGA is doing - but it feels like I have to host them somewhere else and link them inline on messages, here?
