I guess it's still a more merciful death compared to what he would have gone through if Alzheimer's had finished him off.

Last couple of days have been a whirlwind. I'm really looking forward to going back to work tomorrow.

I'm in a pretty good space right now, and I have been ... the knowledge that he's finally been made whole again after all the crap he's gone through is very comforting. The number of people who showed up, both from his crowd and from mine and even my son's, was very flattering.

Going back to work today was also comforting. Normalcy at a time like this is good.

Still down for me. I have been using Duckduckgo for the time being but it is awful compared to the Citadel search engine.

Fun fact, I actually have a search site on my own whose name translates to "HorseHorseGo", but it is for internal use only and I can't use it from the Tor network heh.

I did see some errors, I think we might be hitting some rate limits on the upstream search engines. Certainly not from us using it, so I wonder who's actually hitting (and probably spamming) it.

Well that was neat, not seen this in a while.

I logged in. Saw several rooms were orange. Went into one room to do a post ( ok, a rant ) with intent to look at the others afterward.  Go back to the room list, they all were marked as read.

It is working for me *right now*. It certainly didn't feel like upstream ratelimit to me.

Not that it means a damned thing, but i tried it on TOR this morning just to see... Wondering if it might be regional.  But it worked.

Surprisingly the out-port was in a Russian province.  I was NOT expecting that at all.  Figured that would be a dangerous thing to do there.  Using, sure, i can see that happening a lot, but not being an out-port.
