Didn't even click the link. Saw Florida in the URL, that's all I needed
to know.
Heh. "Florida Man" headlines.
When I travel there, my wife always tells me "Don't be Florida Man!"
Don't want to get into the right/wrong discussion or anything as that is a rabbit hole none of us wasn't to jump down, but i guess there is a report of skyrocketing 'day after' pill purchases this week.
Sort of find that interesting.
Lol. Had blood work this morning. They wanted to run a blood-type test. I told them no they really dont. All it does is confuse and scare the doctors. They did it anyway. Came back with a blank wtf. look. ( its t-negative )
DNA tests are even worse.

fyi the floor of the garage is hard when you trip and fall on it.
I can't say from personal experience about the garage, but I can tell you the same is true of the kitchen tile.
PSA: Too much moonshine in the afternoon can ruin your dinner.
PSA: I wouldn't know good moonshine if you filled my truck up with it. I need to do better.
A few liquor stores sell 'commercial' moonshine. Unless your state bans high proof ( some do... unconstitutional ) If you go with at least 120 proof, its close enough to real to be fine. ( blueflame is one )
While is not 100% the same, a bit lower proof, its almost there... and at least you don't run the risk of dying if they did a poor job distilling.

As for me, I've got such a low alcohol tolerance that a single serving of something 120 proof would finish me off for the rest of the day and give me a whopping hangover. It sure feels good going down, though.
Well, you would want to mix it.. Moonshine is perfect for mixing.
As far as "a shot + hangovers", i used to have ( still do? i donno ) had a high tolerance. Back in the old days id drink a 1/2 pint of 190, and walk away from the party. Friend/drinking buddy used to drink 151. Most everyone else either beer or the occasional 80 proof pee-water. ( i may have told this story, of so, sorry ). One evening during a weekend party, mid to late 20s, we finished off our bottles, sitting in the kitchen. Looked around at everyone passed out. "ok, this is dumb" and we both quit that night and never looked back.
( what little bit i drink now does not count. its a flavor thing. tequila + my green fizz, perhaps once a month max and never enough to cause any effects )
Wed May 21 2025 16:41:24 UTC from IGnatius T FoobarWell yes, we could have a discussion about the federal government abusing its interpretation of the interstate commerce clause ("weeeeeeelllll... theoretically this *could* cross state lines") but for the purpose of this discussion it's sufficient to say that yes, some states have liquor laws.
