I think it's weird that your dad thinks eggs lay eggs. I mean, I guess in an abstract kind of way they do, but most people don't talk like that.

If you keep taking them, she'll keep making them.  365 days a year.

And what is an egg really, but a liquid chicken?

Had a few of those again recently ( barely over the floods ). I guess just south of here across the border, 20+ people didn't make it.

Do you know that t-storms are supposed to freak your horses out, and you are supposed to calm them and keep them safe and stuff? Well, we had one recently here, and when I went to the barn to check how my darlings were doing, Mary walked up to me and horse-hugged me as if trying to comfort me lol.

Ok i know i promised a story but im super busy right now......  so i guess you get a short one, and when i have time ill come back with more if anyone actually cares.

As mentioned Nurb and I spent most of a day in a state park hiking and stuff.  Nothing new. i like woods. He does too.  But as we walked around a little, the wildlife started following us, it was weird.... Then started coming up to us to be petted by him, and get a treat. He had a bag of dry corn.. "for the animals"... um ok.. i had no clue what he meant.   Birds would land on his shoulder, squirrels visited.  even a couple of deer came by.   if i had not seen it with my own eyes id not believe it. Was like out of a movie.

A few came up and seemed nervous around his dog.  Instantly his dog would lay down, put her face down and then he would take a step forward. pet/feed..  The wild animal would wander off and dog would get up and come to his side..

And on the topic of his dog, its one of the most beautiful dogs i have i ever seen. Long hair, red, German Shepherd female. Should be in the AKC show circuit..   And i have never ever seen such an obedient/smart/behaved/devoted/whatever.. it was like they were psychically linked..  it was almost scary how connected they seemed to be. And yes, i know... dogs and their trainer/handler develop a special bond you don't see with 'just pets', but this was just unreal, in a wonderful way.

New flesh eating bug in mexico eating cows, and they are suspending imports of beef and such.  Its transmissible to humans.   

Lets hope so.

He also shot one of their dogs. It just now had to be put down due to the injuries.

He needs to be burnt alive after being stoned in the public square. Then his burnt corpse sent to the nearest animal shelter for food. No mercy for people like this. None.

I guess they caught that Vance Boelter guy, crawling thru a field, so no longer a threat to residents in the area.   I have mixed feelings about this, one should not run around doing what he did, but then again, they were politicians, but he had non-politicians on his list that got left behind. ( and sort of odd for a 59 year old to snap like that.. but it sort of sounds like he lived in a fantasy world anyway )

I accidentally clicked on the video of Walz making the announcement.  What the F is that person beside him doing? That is not how you do sign language, that was more like a comedy mime act..  That was insulting. ( well, he is too, but that's another topic )

 

the last 2 crashes with my dogs.

latest: Cracked a rib  ( perhaps even broke, but i didn't bother to go to the doctor. I knew what was up, and how to be careful until it healed. not much they could do anyway other than verify and bill me ). Not end of world but hurt like hell for quite a while.

One before that: lost the radius bone in my left arm, hosed my wrist and shoulder.  Not end of world there either, but damned close. Will live with that forever.

So Tiny Coconut, Little Coconut and Woolly Coconut teamed up and, with the pretext of running after a ball my father had thrown, crashed into me and ruined my week very badly. Specially because Tiny Coconut is 120 Ib - take a guess at how large are the big ones.

It seems I am bound to a cane for the time being since my knee is fucked up. I have a beautiful cane for old ladies with a colorful flower theme.
