That was Cher hitting him in the face with a shovel.
(I'm so old, I remember when Cher was slightly tolerable.)

It's a recreational belief, not a conspiracy theory.
Conspiracy theories are just truths that haven't had the documentation released yet.

So the recreational belief that Sony Bono didn't die in an accident seems way more likely that it being a conspriacy theory that just hasn't been confirmed yet.
