And on top of everything else we have, my old dog now has pressure sores on her bad hip due to her hip bones.  Caused by loss of muscle mass due to the osteoarthritis, and age ( 13 ).

One consolation is its not cancer again, the spots look almost the same. We almost lost her that time. And at 13, it wont take much.

Well, I guess that dog still has more energy than myself today :)

I used to have a 16 year old dog who seemed very frail. Everybody who visited
the house for whatever reason mentioned that dog was near the end of the road. Well, it turns out the dog was near the end of the road for YEARS.

"i want out"   "its 3 degrees"  "i want out" ( rings bell ).

"Its cold i want in"

( both cat and dogs this week )

Dogs are loving the snow. Cat looks out, looks back like "wtf is this white stuff?"

Yeah, dogs are all like these. It is said doors are those things a dog is always the wrong side at.

I like letting the doors of the barns open so the horses can go in an out as they please instead of freaking out because they are on the wrong side, heh.

I think cats are worse.

I have considered a doggy door sort of thing in the past, but it wouldn't work here. One cat cant be trusted outside as he would hop the fence and go roam. Cant allow that.

I used to have some cats around. I let them outside at will. It only worked because they had some cat-huts located at the top of the perimetral walls and they loved them, so they never went too far. That, and there is nothing interesting in a couple of miles around.

I'm glad I finally had a chance to meet her before she passed.  She was a really sweet gentle cat.

So the most intellectual conversation of the day so far has looked like this:

"Come here, Eye-Sore Coconut. Yes, this is a flask of eye-drops. Yes, it was in a first-aid kit with a horse sticker on it, but I assure you it also works with Coconuts. No, don't kiss me in the face, don't kiss me in the mfffphhhh"

And looks like i did:

Out at park on the 'trail' ( asphalt ), which is wide enough to pass people + some extra room.    "hey, my son is afraid of dogs can you go stand out in the mud"      "No, you can" *bird flip*   ( ok they didn't actually say "the mud" but that all there was .. its been raining here for days and snow melting. )

idiots.

"Hello there, coconuts! I have placed all food leftovers nobody wanted in pots, boiled them altogether, and produced a nasty looking mix of vegetables, bones, and semi-loquid cereals!"

Something I love about dogs is they are so easy to make happy.

Man, take care of him.

I also have a sick one, here, but it does not seem to be anything serious. She sends her regards.

It doesn't seem serous at this point, shes just 'bleh', stomach making all sorts of noise, ick-poo, and wanted to go out about 7 times last night.

Did this last week too, but thought she was fine. now same.

About time for more anti-acid, trying to calm that stomach down.

Glad to hear. Here the one we had sick is muhc better, but now we have another whose leg hurts a bit. That is the issue with having so many animals: there is always a sick one.

*Phone rings. darknetuser picks it up*
darknetuser: IT department.
caller: Hi, this is Smith, from sales. I just deleted an important file from the platform and I need to recover it very badly.
*slurb* *slurb*
darknetuser: It is likely in the trash bin, have you checked there?
*slurb* *slurb*
caller: Actually, I have disabled the trash bin in my account.
*slurb* *slurb*
darknetuser: if the file was more than one day old, I am likely finding it in the backups. Tell me how the file was named.
*slurb* *slurb*
caller: Sure, the file was... wait a minute, what the hell is that?
darknetuser: What?
*slurb* *slurb*
caller: I hear something weird. It sounds like "slurb slurb"
darknetuser: Ah, that. Don't mind it. It is a horse licking my face.
