Ah, yes, the latest technique in psychological artwork, using chiaroscuro with psychoanalysis to create schadenfreude.
Half a pound of thin copper wire,
Half a pound of glitches.
That's the waythe money goes,
Pop! goes the light switch!
Why I hate Mary Kay:
1. It turns what should be fellowship opportunities with friends and family, at church, etc. into business opportunities.
2. It takes her away from the house as many as three times a week at meetings and social things. I don't mind this, except that it is higher priority than things like dishes, laundry, cooking, etc. I always thought hobbies came after chores were done.
3. It costs me money and time. I have no idea whether she makes any, but if so it is based on free babysitting by myself (okay) and others (not so okay). I took 4 days of leave last month so she could go to the national meeting thing. She decided to go and then told me I had to take leave to watch the kids. The plane ticket came out of our household "emergency" credit card.
4. It tells her that no matter how much I make or that she has complete oversight over our finances, she needs another source of income "for herself." It tells me that I will never be able to provide for her to the level she expects.
