the web is dead; long live the web.
How apps and facebook kill the web
Again, good riddance web.
Rumors of the death of the Web have been greatly exaggerated, I think.
Besides, who really wants to live in a world where Apple and Facebook control the entire online universe? Didn't we build the world wide web to get away from that kind of centralized control?
while the persons creating use for the internet, making it a technical success, aren't the majority anymore.
so it might be economicaly acceptable to not serve their needs, like having an http proxy that only serves the "big" sites or doesn't allow "unauthorized" traffic anymore.
While its technicaly reasonable to block port 25 because of zombie wintendos, its a start into that direction.
I think this one goes in the 'fail' column.
