Ahh, they diverted the water from the American falls over to the Canadian falls. Easier to do it that way than the other way around.
The American falls will eventually run dry in a few eons when erosion moves the brink of the Canadian falls further up the river, past the forks.
Or if a glacier reworks the terrain.

I left because I got too busy. I'm still kinda busy, but they have been remarkably nice about keeping up with me, all these years, so I figure I'll try making a couple more limericks and work on some of the ones that got ignored.
