It's kind of funny how people will say 'BS' without backing it in any way.
Someone who follows N*S in Google+ read something I wrote that N*S reposted, and just responded with 'BS', then later, 'The author is obviously not qualified to opine on this topic'.
It's as if the person is afraid to say anything, lest he looks like an idiot, but has no problem tearing down someone else.
Which, in a way, is just a more refined version of hiding-behind-the-machine, isn't it?
Oh, well, he claims I have certain facts wrong.
So, I figured since I gave a short-cut version of what I was thinking (and that's probably why he figures my facts are wrong), I'll give a longer explaination, and he can explain to me where I'm off.
I sorta hope I do have some kind of fact wrong... I would learn something new if he corrects me.
Yeah, it didn't seem to impact my browser all that hard.
It's scary because of the numbers.
Liou Boulin disappears:
He obviously needs specialized contact lenses to really make himself disappear.
Someone named 'SeamofConsciousness' wrote:
A "seagull" is just a social construct. Had you been raised naked,
eating from side walks and dumpsters, you would be a thief as well!
Poverty causes crime, and crime causes poverty! The only way for us to
end this viscous cycle is to pour vast amounts of other people's money
into elaborate bureaucracies which will act in ill defined ways to off
set societal inequality. created by our "Human-centric" monoculture and
institutional avian discrimination.
Well, that cracked me up. 'Viscous' cycle in the midst of all this
semi-political BS. So, I responded:
@SeamofConsciousness I took you seriously until I saw 'viscous cycle',
at which point I laughed. Pretty hard. It's like you were discussing
man's inhumanity to man,
but had to throw mucous into the whole mix for
some inexplicable reason.
I think he might not have appreciated the humor, though:
@fleebness Don't talk down to. me simply because I don't subscribe to
your euro-centric spelling standards.
So, I responded with:
@SeamofConsciousness Man, you're hilarious! "Euro-centric spelling
standards" when your spelling was dead-on, and you're using a
euro-centric language! Awesome! No, I wasn't talking down, I was
laughing with you. Hopefully, I still am, 'cause I don't really like
laughing at people. If you were serious, well, sorry. It didn't come
off that way.
I think I said this somewhere else recently, but you post stupid shit in a public forum, you should at LEAST expect to take some abuse (not that you were abusive, I'm talking in general) because any crazy fuck can read and respond to you.
People post publicly excpecting their audience to be people who agree with them. Just plain ignorant.
The weird thing is that I can't really figure out if the guy really was joking all this time, or earnest. If he's joking, he's a really good troll.
I think he was eating some goofballs...
I think the line about pumping other people's money into vast, ill-defined bureaucracies suggests a sense of humor. I vote really good troll.
I used proper euro-centric spelling for that word earlier.
You probably all have seen this "Arguing on the internet is like participating in the special olympics" pic, so here is an upgrade:
Oh, wow, PBF has a new comic as of sometime last month:
>> KLF Google Map <<
"I made a KLF Google map," boasts Drew Badly. "I
say 'made', I compiled it. I got snowed in and
the locations just kept on getting added." An
obscure and peculiar guide to the movements of
the cult 90s group. Right up our street. A-ha,
